My Saturdays of late have been filled with lots of creative activity.
Last Saturday I did a book reading at TIES Center about keeping our environment clean. Afterwards the kids picked up garbage and learned what could be recycled or repurposed and then created art from it.
I also taught them how to make simple God's Eyes which was a huge success and lots of fun.
Yesterday morning was spent with members of our Kuwait Crafters Group giving some of the crochet pieces at the Secret Garden a facelift. We were able to yarnbomb another bench with the granny square contributions received for the yarnbombing event held in November.
And yesterday afternoon I was back out at the garden for arts and crafts.
More God's Eyes, drawing and planting seeds in newspaper pots.
One little girl used the wooden skewers meant for God's Eyes as knitting needles and knit a little piece that she immediately tied to one of the trees and her younger sister decided if she couldn't make a God's Eye, then she could at least draw it.
Very inventive.
In crafting there are no mistakes, just unique creations.
Have a great day!
