My New Rule

No matter what ...
CREATE EVERY DAY!

Thanks to Tanna at The Brick Street Bungalow, this was today's project.
She's made many of these baskets lately in so many lovely colors.
You can find the pattern for a small or larger basket at Crochet in Color.
Think I'll make a blue one next.

Have a wonderful Wednesday!

That's an adorable basket. : )
I just don't have the desire to create crafts every day, I'm kind of happy just doing what I do... if I'm not at work, I'm working in the yard, in the gardens, or just piddling around the house. What I'd like to do is to learn to part with stuff in general and live very minimalist; I'm not doing very well in that department though.

Hope you're having a great week. Even though the students are moving back in here, I rarely see them except when I venture outside of my office.

Dearest Tammy,
A lovely and yet quite simple crocheted basket. Those handles make it look so special.
Hugs,
Mariette

That is my rule too! I am really trying to enforce it lately because I do get so busy with other things--my day job, cooking, housework, gardening...but being creative is just an extension of my soul and I feel so much better, even if I just thread a needle or put a doodle in my art journal. I love that bowl, thanks for sharing it! Sandy Leigh

Love your basket! I'm so interested in crochet and really need to carve out the time to learn. I love the idea of creating every day as that can take on many different things!

What Linda said. :)

Actually I think we do create every day, though we may not craft every day. Cooking a meal is a type of creating; so is making the bed. Bringing order out of chaos is definitely a creative work.(So why is there still a pile of unfolded laundry in my bedroom? I should really be in there creating tidiness, not sitting here reading blogs....) :)

What a cute basket!

Love this! I think it's so important to create daily. Anything is fine as long as you do something. I agree, a meal can fulfill that creative requirement too. Your basket is wonderful-I think I'll check out that link.
Blessings,
Betsy

It's beautiful Tammy - I love that red.
I saw it on your Instagram too!
If only I could crochet - it's such a useful pretty basket to keep bits and bobs in.
I'm making small hexis at the mo - it would be perfect for storing these!!!
Enjoy your weekend.

Dearest Tammy,
you show us again and again pretty crocheting projects! By the way: Your crocheted doily is finally to see in my blog today :o)! I also read your travelogue about the Bandalier National Monument with interest - the photos of your hike are stunning. If we manage one day to travel to this area, we will definitely follow your travel tip!
Thank you so much for your nice word on my blog! Warm hugs, my dear,
Traude
