Wasn't sure how the day would pan out from the looks of the sky this morning but it turned out to be so much better than I expected.
Had an early morning coffee with a friend and did a little shopping.
Walked with hubby in the afternoon.
It's amazing how the sky would be blue in one direction.
Fluffy white clouds up ahead.
And then dark clouds to the right, which fortunately were just for show.
My friend this morning asked for some dishcloths so that's what I've been working on this evening.
Of course, the best part of the day was knowing that college boy arrived safely to CO. He and a friend do still have a several hour drive to university tomorrow, but they say they should get there before predicted snow starts again.
Have a great day!

I'm glad that your son is in Colorado. I'm not sure where that college is. I'll have to ask my daughter. It isn't near Leadville is it? I bet he is cold.
I'm glad someone is being creative. I love those kind of washcloths.
Glad your son arrived safely in CO. Hopefully he will have better weather than the past few weeks. I love your dish cloths and think of you each time I use the lovely blue one you sent me.
Have a wonderful weekend.
It's nice when the sky makes a wise choice :)
all good things happening there tammy. i had coffee today with a friend too, always so delightful.
my eldest daughter is in colorado this weekend, they flew in last night to go snow skiing! great to hear your boy has arrived safely!
have a great weekend, xo lori
I'm glad to hear your college boy made it to Colorado. I wish him and his friend a safe journey on the long drive to university. I hope the snow holds off for them.
Nice work on the dish cloths. :)
We've been having a few days of pleasant weather since the dreadful heatwave and summer storm although it has been trying to rain. I don't mind rain, it's the storms I'm not a huge fan of.
Have a lovely weekend! xo
glad the weather is getting better and that your boy landed safely in USA!!!!!

Sounds like a very good day. Always so happy when someone arrives safely at the destination. So glad your son did.
I started knitting again, now spring colored dish cloths. Working on a pretty pink on now.
Your lattes and crescent roll sure look good.
I got a kick out of your sunny sky, cloudy sky and downright ominous sky.. standing in the same spot. That reminds me of where I live here in Oregon! Good for you to get some crocheting in.. I think I need to do that too. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
Always love seeing your little piece of the world. So glad hear your son is getting back to college safely. I can't even image the worry that you go through. I know always breathe a sigh of relief with my college girl is finally back and her trip is only a little over an hour.
Wishing you a wonderful week.
Your son is really located in a snowy area!
It's not the case here in central Illinois where we had the blizzard on Monday and all of the snow nearly gone by today where the temps are near 50. Drastic temperature changes are the norm here. That's why I never worry when we get a snowstorm because I know it will all be gone by the following week (not the case in Colorado).
Glad you've had a good weekend. One more day today for us.
My weekends are all about the same - I hang around with my husband since I don't hang around with any friends and have virtually none. Yesterday, we went and bought a new mattress set which will arrive on Tuesday. Our old set was 30 years old, so yes, it was time.
Have a great new week,
Linda
Thank goodness your son is safe and sound in Colorado, Tammy. That's a long trip! Wonder how he likes the snow? Take care and have a nice Sunday. Susan
There is nothing as wonderful as knowing your family is safe. Glad he got back from his long trip just fine. Glad you got out and about for a lovely walk and had time to crochet, remember yarn soothes the soul.
Hugs,
Meredith
Early morning coffee dates and shopping sounds good to me Tammy!
Have a lovely week!

Blue skies and a son safe on the ground - good news all around! Plus a croissant.... :)
It is always a sweet relief when our children land safely back to their destinations. =)
Wishing you a wonderful week, Tammy. blessings ~ tanna
Glad your son made it back and will get home before snow starts. Things are starting to settle down now that the holidays are over but it was a great one! Hope yours was too.
Glad your son made it to CO safely. I hope he beat the snow. This has been a crazy winter in the US. Here in TN, we had temps last week that broke records for the first time in 23 years. BRRRRR. Love your dishcloths. You have influenced me to do dishcloths. They are small and quick to do and don't hurt my hands as much as a big project. Stay warm and dry. Hugs, Sharon
