It's a Wrap!

It is just mind boggling to me that this is the last day of January.
Even at lunch today, my husband said he doesn't know where the month has gone.
It certainly has been a busy one.

We were in Oman for the New Year and when we got back, our oldest son returned to Colorado for his second semester of college.
We took a trip to Jordan to see family which just happened to coincide with January's Full Wolf Moon.
This is what it looked like our last morning in Amman.
The winter season in Kuwait is the best time of year to capture colorful sunrises, sunsets and ever changing weather so I am constantly looking skyward, taking it all in.
Joy in looking and comprehending
is nature's most beautiful gift.
 (Albert Einstein)
It is also the season of growth.
What a joy it was to gather all these gorgeous tomatoes from our balcony just this past week.
With more to come.
And it is the best time of the year to walk and enjoy the outdoors so have been doing a lot of that.

Thanks to everyone who has stopped by for the Grow Your Blog party hosted by Vicki at 2 Bags Full.
I am only up to list number 3 out of 32.  Yikes!  It's been nice finding new blogs, especially those related to cross-stitching which was a big part of my life for 25 years until crochet took over.
In fact, I've been inspired to start small.
A bit of fragrance always clings to the hand that gives roses.

Wishing you all a wonderful last day of January!
Blessings,

In our wintery part of the world, January has been very, very long. We're praying for an early spring. I'm so jealous of your tomatoes.....beautiful! Enjoy! Jan

Always love your photos and I'm enjoying you on Instagram. :)
Complete opposite view though from this side of the world - my husband and I were agreeing this morning that it seems like it's been January FOREVER here.... such a long, tiring month of winter. Ugh... and I'm sooooo glad it's done with today! However, true to form, winter continues here in Central Illinois with more snow today and tomorrow and probably forever, lol.

January did seem to go very fast but then with all of the snow we've had, I wish it had gone faster so spring would come. The sun is shining just a tiny bit today for the first time in weeks. Literally, it's been weeks since I saw any blue sky so I breath in your posts with the beautiful skies.
Blessings,
Betsy

They (who ever 'they' are) say that if time passes quickly, you're having a good time. I would say that for you, January was a good month!
How your boys are growing, too!
February is upon us, so what are you planning? I love that you travel as much as you do.
Warm hugs and all my best to a great February!

Hi Tammy. So impressed with your lovely tomatoes. Yummy yum yum. Nothing like the "plastic" store bought ones at this time of year. Your photos are lovely, too. You are so right, January went faster than a streak of lightening. Take care and thanks so much for all your visits to my blog. Susan

Hey Tammy ~ Just loved all the pictures, but the cat in the wicker chair, and those beautiful juicy tomatoes are my favorites. I was drooling thinking about eating a fresh tomato over the sink with the juice running down to my elbows. Yumm. I drooling a I type.

I forgot to ask how he likes college and the U.S. and if he got homesick so far from home? I hope he's having a good experience. I was going to join the Grow Your Blog but didn't. You get lots of comments on yours.
Look at those gorgeous tomatoes! Yum! Did you see I am back into cross stitch too? Just smaller projects though...nothing huge. LOL! Your rose is so sweet.
Enjoy your beautiful weather.

Dearest Tammy,
Your blog and photos are brimming with happiness; happy sights and happy faces.
With such fond memories you can tackle a few more short months ahead. And WOW, your tomatoes make me envious as we seldom managed in our greenhouse as it is too hot here in summer.
Hugs,
Mariette

Those tomatoes look wonderful! I rarely buy them here in the winter - they are so tasteless. How fun to have your family together over the holidays.

Your travels are so interesting. I love to read about them. I would love to sample one of those tomatoes. Tomatoes are a favorite of mine but the ones at the grocery are not nearly as good as home grown ones. Yours look delicious.
