After making
pumpkin oatmeal the other night, I still had pumpkin to use up, so made pumpkin muffins. And because everything tastes better with a bit of "frosting", I whipped together pumpkin with cream cheese, cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice and powdered sugar. Spread that on top, added a pecan and served it up with Spiced Chai and cardamom milk. Pretty darn good!
It looks like we are in for yet another dust storm. At 5 pm, it's already getting dark and dreary out there. Hubby decided to walk anyways, but I chose to stay in. After a few chores, I will settle in for the evening with crochet hook in hand.
Hope your Tuesday is a good one. Stop by
Kimmie's place for more Tea on Tuesday.

Ow, I need one of those muffins, right now! They look soooooo good.
Is spring always full of dust storms there? Here, in spring, we have thunderstorms. We've had a few good sized tornadoes this week, which is rare this far south. Like your crochet items. I'm still learning how to knit...I guess crochet is next. :) Happy tea day.
Those look yummy!! Love the flowers, and cute owl!! xo Heather
Hi Tammy
Those pumpkin muffins look incredibly yummy. I always admire you gals that bake! Have a lovely week my friend.

They look delicious. I had also become fashionable and crochet when it's still a sandstorm on the way.

Delicious muffims and pretty crochet flowers.
Wise move staying home and avoiding the threat of dust.
Smiles, Angela.
Apparently I was trying to leave a comment at the same time as someone else and MINE was rejected. Not sure I can remember everything I said, but I know I said I liked the food from Sunday, and the pumpkin muffins with their special cream cheese icing. I also said something about the adorable crocheted flowers. My grandmother used to make ones that looked similar (and same color, too).
Sorry, I know this isn't what I started with a few minutes ago, but still, have a super, albeit late evening, Tea Tuesday.
Once in a while I read a blog post, and feel inspired enough to get off my bottom and re-create what I've just seen. Not only is this great exercise for my seat loving legs, but also keeps my children fed. Thank you Tammy. I am making those Pumpkin muffins NOW!
Those muffins look pretty AND delicious! I absolutely adore your little owl too and the flowers. I have to pay bills today (YUCK) but after that I am going to sit and make some flowers to string across my mantle. Spring is going on outside but I need to make something Springy for the inside!
They look very yummy !It is good choice to stay in with a plate of these delicious muffin's !!
Have a nice day

Thanks for the recipe Tammy - I knew that I had pumpkin and flour and had been rummaging around my cookery books for inspiration on what else I'd need - so well timed - thanks! x

Save a muffin for me ... grabbing hook and cup of tea and what a grand evening that would be. Love the little owl and flower.
The owl is adorable! And your pumpkin muffins and icing look fabulous. Perused your other posts and wish I could visit that awesome bead store!

Yummmm... I love pumpkin anything! I admire your husband's discipline with his walking. He doesn't let anything hold him back. Oh, that owl and those flowers are soooo cute!! Tammy, thank you again for your encouragement and prayers. Thank you. blessings ~ tanna
Wow, the muffins with the tea sounded like a nice spicy snack, Tammy.
Don't blame you for skipping the walk in the dust. I would've skipped too! ha! Susan

Those muffins look amazing... my sister makes pumpkin scones which are famous... I love pumpkin spiced baking... these look perfect...xx
I love that you stopped by - thanks for the comment.
Reading through your recent posts, I can hardly believe that we were perhaps at the Dubai Mall on the very same day, wow it's a small world after all!! Your pics (like mine, which I'll post soon as I work my way through SE Asia) brought back memories of that exciting place - the fountain, the Burj, aquarium etc.
Nice that you did meet up with a blog pal though - always fun.
I'll become a follower Tammy as I'm looking forward to reading more of your life far from home - wherever that may be!
Hugs - have a wonderful day.

Love the little owl. His beak is so cute.
Do you grow pumpkins are they in your markets now. We don't see pumpkins except in fall.
Those muffins look tasty.
Blessings, Ginger
