Happy Halloween!

After Saturday's dusty weather, skies have been blue and filled with clouds.

According to weather reports, we had a few drops of rain somewhere in Kuwait. Not enough to really talk about obviously.

Jingles is keeping watch for things that go bump in the night.

Witches flying past on broomsticks,
Black cats leaping here and there,
White-robed spooks on every corner,
Mournful moaning in the air,

Goblins peering out of windows,
Spirit-things that rap and run-
But don't be scared-it's just October,
Having one last hour of fun!

(Mary Jane Carr)

I hope today you get more treats than tricks.

Eat, drink and be scary! Tammy

Tammy,
Love the little poem and the photos! So charming!

Sarah has a bunny costume for Winston. Not sure how she plans to get photos of him in it, but you can bet I'll be using my "stern voice". ;)

Hope you have a wonderful day with great weather. It's sunny and actually very nice here - high of 60 which isn't too bad for Halloween in Illinois. I expect we will have lots of goblins at our door. Some years we've had upwards of 100 trick-or-treaters.

Sarah is heading out with Anthony to the commercial Haunted House (a scary one that she went through on the weekend and loves) and also the Corn Maze at the local Reindeer Ranch.

Linda :)

Dearest Tammy,

Jingles looks dead serious for her task! Do your boys understand about Halloween too? Wonder if it is being observed in your country as well.
Love to you,

Mariette

I'm so glad you're seeing some blue skies for a change! How long did cute little Jingles keep her bib on? Not long I'll bet.

What an absolutely delightful post, I just love all your photos. Jingles is adorable all dressed for Halloween, and those moon pictures are fantastic. I have tried to capture night time pics like that but without success. I like the sky photos, I am such a sky observer. My brother always said I grew up with my neck cranned to always see what was above me! :-)
Happy Halloween. ~Debby

The weather has been beautiful. Just wish I could enjoy it more. I am hoping I will be able to when we go to Dubai. Hopefully, I can shake this nasty little cold I got. Nasal stuffiness, scratchy throat, sore cheeks, and losing my voice...argh.
Jingles is definately a poster cat for Halloween. He looks too cute. Your photo of the sunrise is absolutely gorgeous. Muny got the same shot of the moon...HA! Happy Halloween my friend.

Love Melissa

It looks like Jingles is enjoying the moment. We had lovely weather for Halloween here in KC.in the 70's and no wind. Looking for a change tomorrow. Supoose to drop 40's and chance of snow. Have to love the midwest.

Happy Halloween to you too, I am a little late though. We had a fun time here, "Trunk or Treat" at our church and a fun and games inside. I was outside freezing most of the time but had fun. I enjoyed your poem and pictures.
