Pillow Project

While visiting Sue over at SIBOL (Sunshine International Blankets of Love), I was inspired by a square she received from Margaret in the UK and remembered I had these that were made with leftover cotton yarn.

My wishy-washiness from yesterday resulted in a whole lot of nothing last nite but my project for today was this crocheted pillow.

Next up, a cross-stitch pattern in the same color scheme.

Hope you are having a crafty day, too. Best wishes and blessings, Tammy

Lets pretend that we are sitting in the same room right now, because I am crocheting too! I am using butcher cotton string and am trying to make a cuff with it. I started with twine yesterday because I needed a handle for a bag I made but figured it would be too uncomfortable so I reached for my cotton string... I love it! So I'm imagining we each have a rocking chair and were crocheting, geesh how old am I??? LOL Theresa xoxo
p.s. I was wishy washy on Tuesday, I hope I didn't send it to you ;)

I'm laughing at Theresa's post....funny!

It's ok to be wishy-washy now and then. When your head finally kicks in, you'll be brilliant!

Love the cross stitch pattern...sunny and smiley!

Hugs my friend,
Jan

may we all join you and sit and create? feeling wishy-washy seems to be going around these days....but on a day like today, here in Va USA, it's like the first day of spring...warm, breezy, sun-shiny....so no wishy-washy allowed.
Tammy your pillow would fit right in. Two sweet sunny flowers....lovely! The x-stitch is going to be so sunny too....hope you had a good day and have a great night....

Very cool. I didn't know you knew SUe and the Sibol-ettes. I'm actually waiting... she has sent me one to put together. You are off to a great start. Sorry, I'm not getting here every day. Just trying to keep up.

Okay, you might not sew, but dang you can crochet and cross stitch! Love them all! My mom crocheted, among other creative things, but I never learned that from her. I wish I had.

Thanks for sharing!

Love the pillow and the cross stitch. I think I need to make a small crocheted pillow. You do so inspire. Are you going to do a small pillow with the cross stitch? I'm really getting drawn into cross stitch. Can't wait to see this finished. Have a lovely evening/day.

Glad you had a productive day in your jammies. Lunch wasn't as good as the PF Changs at the Avenues but it is really nice there and a change of scenery. Hope the rest of your weekend is just as relaxing:)

Wow, Tammy, you are the project queen for sure! :) Lovely!

No crafting going on here.... but maybe some drawing later tonight. We'll see. I'm just happy for a nice 3-day weekend. Jim will be gone, I'll be driving teenagers here and there and supervising, but in between, I'll be having some personal time to do as I please, which is what I like best.

Have a great weekend,
Linda

The cushion is gorgeous! A clever way to use those little pieces from left-over wool.

I crocheted once. ONCE. LOL I think the project I chose was a bit complicated for a novice, but I'd like to work with some yarn rather than thread. Love your pillow!
