Sunday Spotlight

Several weeks ago, I came across this post from Sherry at A Happy Valentine where she shared her Easy Peanut Butter Cookie recipe. With only 4 ingredients, you cannot go wrong.

This recipes makes a really good dough to work with. Rolling it into balls is so easy. No stickiness, no need for flour.

The cookies don't spread so you can line them up in neat rows and let them bake until they are golden.

Today makes the 4th time I have made them and everyone I give them to always asks for the recipe.

So if you would like to try it yourself, head on over to Sherry's place and check it out. I'm going to enjoy the fruits (or in this case cookies) of my labor.

Hope you are having a great weekend. Friendship blessings, Tammy

Mmmm, those look good, Tammy. Recognized all the ingredients except Foster Clark's. What's in that bottle? Vanilla? Take care and have a great Sunday. Susan

I'm going to try this one. I found a recipe in our paper this week that takes 4 ingredients. It's a chocolate/craisin' cookie. If it turns out to be good, I'll post it & let you know. Thanks! Jan

Tammy,
I just spend a nice chunk of time going thru your blog playing catch up. It's always fascinating to me how 'similar' your life is to mine even tho there are so many miles between us. Down to the turkey & pumpkin pie! The kids look great & so grown up, (I love the hair)! Love your blogging Marilyn gifts & the cookie recipe....Yummy! I too am making a big effort to make gifts this year, if I can't make it I'm getting it on etsy. No stores for me, except of course Toys R Us! Thanks for sharing. Lisa
PS I hope you beat that cold & that your holidays are filled with happiness & health.

I cannot remember the last time I made peanut butter cookies. They look wonderful, and I will be going to Sherry's blog to find the recipe. They won't last long in this house, that is for sure...
Usually, I am making cookies right about now for teachers and people at school. I have not done anything this year, and need to start thinking in that direction if anything is going to get done. Seeing your lovely cookies may have just inspired me to get on the ball. Thanks for the inspiration!!

Enjoy your cookies!

Love,
Renee

I havent made or eaten peanut butter cookies in the longest. I like simple recipes so will copy this down for future use. I always avoid baking because Im afraid I'll eat everything. This cookie mission Im doing is going to be a real test. Gonna make reindeer poop, sugar cookies and chocolate chip today. I plan on making at least 2 kinds a day til I have my Xmas cookie party....except Friday....won't be home. Hopefully the Buckeyes I plan to make (with peanut butter and dipped in chocolate) come out good. Anyways, better get crackin.
