An Evening of Friendship

Hubby and I recently went to visit my friend, Shereen, and her husband.

It was the first time for the guys to meet.

We had a lovely evening of food and conversation.

Simple desserts and lots of laughter.

Shereen said she was inspired by me to take holiday photos from around her home, print and cut them out, then use them to decorate an old shopping bag.

And inside that bag were gifts for me.

This sweet book has the most beautiful drawings and poems/stories about cats.

Jingles agrees that Home Is Where the Cat Is!

Hope you are having a fabulous Friday. Happy weekend wishes! Tammy

Shereen's house looks so wonderfully relaxing and inviting. Once again, I am very impressed with her presentation skills. I am sure it was a very nice evening. Nice that you can turn your friendship with her into a evening that the husbands can share too.
Jingles looks TOO happy to know that a house is a bit nicer with a cat around...

Enjoy being around the house a bit more for the next few weeks, cat and all!!

Love,
Renee

Time spent with friends is always wonderful! My bff and I are doing lunch tomorrow and I can't wait. Seems we don't get together near as often as we would like to.
Merry Christmas Tammy!!

Home is where your cat is, Tammy. One of mine is still-under-the-bed. (I will forever be thinking of those words all strung together!) Friendship is such a wonderful gift in and of itself. Merry Christmas to you and yours! (Keep spitting out the sand in those dreaded dust storms!)

Oh Tammy, please, PLEASE submit that photo of Jingles and the cat book. It should be the cover of a cat magazine. It's awesome. I loved it. So glad you and hubby had a nice evening out with friends.

I'm sitting by the fireplace with flames crackling. The Christmas tree, all lighted, is nearby. I'm tired from having a big dinner party but my heart is happy. Everyone has gone home now and I'm going to jump into the whirpool to bubble the rest of the night away and soak my aching muscles.

Take care , Tammy, and have a wonderful weekend. Susan

Friends, food and gift giving and good conversation.....can't go wrong with that. Not surprised that you've inspired her to be crafty as you have so many other people. Cute book...looks like Jingles is trying to imitate the kitty on the cover.
