Cookie Festival

This is me and my crazy best friend Melissa.

She invited a group of us to her place for a cookie festival today. Lots of food ...

games ...

... and 19 different types of cookies for everyone to take home. (I feel a sugar high coming on!)

When she first told me her plan, I thought she was out of her mind. I've heard of cookie exchanges, where everyone bakes up their favorite recipe and brings it along to share. But this girl took it upon herself over the past week to bake up 2-3 batches a day in preparation for this day. Did I mention she is crazy! ??? That's why we love her!

I hope your week is filled with the sweet gift of friendship. Peace and blessings, Tammy

Wow! A whole post devoted to me:) I'm not crazy, I'm just insane!! I had so much fun doing this even though it was a bit hectic at times. It was fun watching everyone turning into 5 year olds for those brief few minutes of cookie collecting.
Hello Gwen. Kids are in school and baby Lillian is the sweetest most well behaved baby. I have been so inspired by you Tammy and Renee and another friend of mine, Dawn who actually made 45 different kinds of cookies. Now she's a nut!
I am planning on keeping this a yearly tradition and eventually a cookie exchange maybe. Ya know, I was thinking the same thing as Saskia. I think we're morphing into each other cause we hang around so much...lol. Thats not a bad thing cause you're one cute chick. Glad you loved the cookies and that I spread a little joy your way as you have done so many times for me. Love ya :*

What a fun day, and leave it to Melissa to do it. Where was this cookie day when I was in Kuwait?? I like to make cookies, but this goes beyond what I could do. I love that she did it, and maybe one day, I will be there to join you for it. Enjoy the cookies. I know everyone who was there will do just that!!

Lovely picture of my two most wonderful friends!! I miss you guys!!
