A bag full of happy

Tomorrow we are off from school to celebrate the Islamic New Year. Since last nite, when Kuwait won the Gulf Cup, folks have been celebrating in the streets. If you call sitting in your car, honking your horn, stuck in traffic celebrating, then that's what they are doing, til all hours of the morning. Mix that in with the New Year and it's a little crazy, but I am safe and sound at home, about to head to bed.

Hubby will be going sailing in the morning and the kids are spending the night with friends.

I bought a bunch of new yarn. Have some new patterns to try.

Can you guess what I will be doing tomorrow?

Happy day! Hope you are having a marvelous Monday! :) Friendship blessings, Tammy

Oh Tammy I think I can venture a guess.....for some reason, I'm thinking it involves yarn in the warmest of colours..and maybe some nice warm tea....

I haven't picked up my knitting needles or crochet hook well, since the last time I posted about it! It's been a while...but right now I'm really into the art thing! lol....

why, why do I spread myself so thin! well...because I like way too many things! yikes, is that good or bad? lol don' t answer that!

I used your beautiful dish cloth today..and felt the loving care and attention in each and ever stitch! thanks again so very much for that...

hope you have a great sleep tonight...and much fun with the threads!

Love all the yarns together for their photo. It makes me want to get out my crochet hook and do something.

Oh, dear....you'll be surrounded with yarn and all alone. :p

I'll be thinking about you relaxing (well deserved) and crocheting and safe at home. What a racket!!!!!

Quiet hugs,
Jan

I am laughing to imagine in my mind the Gulf road with bumper to bumper traffic, and honking horns as the result of a soccer game. Can you imagine the crazy that would follow if Kuwait were going to host FIFA?? How funny!!
I am glad you are finding good cause to stay off the road and be at home. Sure looks like you came out the winner on this one... Did all that yarn come from Barakat? It sure looks lovely. I know you will be in a wonderful state tomorrow with an empty house and a lot of new yarn. Have a wonderful time with it all!!

Love ya,
Renee

LOL!! I get on here and the music starts to blare and Nadeen goes "Is that Tammy's blog". They know now when they hear these songs, mama is getting ready to write. Nadeen wants to know why you put on weird songs..haha! I've never heard of this one.

HA! My husband and girls happened to be some of the crazy people in the car parade by default. He had to go to his shop and told them if they happened to get stuck in it then so be it...well, they got stuck in it. And my mostly reserved husband was as crazy as as the rest. Getting out of his car and spraying foam (we had extra from last year). Shocked even me, but they had fun.
Looks like you're going to be a busy girl with all that yarn. Do you plan on holing yourself during your Xmas break:)
