Lawn Games

Summer evenings mean time spent outdoors. Last nite we played many games of lawn bowling.

And then the kids played a game of washers.

Simple summer fun!

Hope you are finding time for fun and games with friends and family. Peace and blessings, Tammy

Ahhh, summer fun!!! Glad you are having such a great time in the States. It is 98 here today, so it is inside for me! Glad the mosquitos didn't ruin the summer evening fun!!!

Dear Tammy,
reading your older post I bet you're sure having a great time in the US and your summer evenings look fun.
here it's so hot - nearly 40 ° that I can hardly stay outdoors. even at night temps never fo below 28 °C and that's driving me nuts as I cannot be as fresh as a May rose when I get up in the morning and get ready for the office.
Just looking forward to my forthcoming vacation which we will spend in the mountains in northern italy. chances are that either it will be as hot as here or it will rain and cold being right at the border with Germany and Austria.
Blessings

I'd never heard of 'washers' before until we spent a few days in Moab, UT in a cabin. At 2am, the roudy group from California was STILL throwing those washers and havin' a Par-tay!
Can't say I love washers much!

Lawn bowling is MUCH more quiet!

Hugs,
Jan

Just today we took our granddaughter to an old fashioned outdoor activity that was showing children to have fun without epensive toys..so she learned how to play marbles, madea quick stuffed doll and a button whirly-gig game thingy.came home and played batmitten! But, I have to admit, I've never heard of "washers"!

I used to love playing those games. What was the one called where you hit the ball with a hammer like club. The yard looks great! I am just so appreciating all the greenery and space.
