Road Trip Highlights

There is always so much to see on the open road. From Michigan through Indiana, Kentucky, Tennesee to North Carolina and back.

Wind turbines on Indiana farmland.

Suspension bridge crossing into Kentucky.

White knuckle driving in a rainstorm through Tennessee.

Buffalo in NC (now you don't see that every day).

Quilts on barns.

TIME SPENT WITH FAMILY ...

Badminton in the front yard.

Key lime pie made by my cousin, Angie.

TIME SPENT WITH FRIENDS.

Furry friends included.

Our next road trip begins on Sunday the 18th.

I hope everyone is having a fun-filled summer spent with family and friends. Best wishes and blessings, Tammy

Wonderful pictures!! You always look so fashionable - cute clothes! :)

Glad you're having a wonderful time.

Our summer is quickly coming to an end... one last vacation time this next week with daughter Jennifer here from Canada, but after that, Sarah starts Cheerleading and Marching Band and it fills every single day and weekend until school begins on the 18th of August. :( Thankfully, we'll still have some daytimes and evenings in between the practices...

What great photos! A Buffalo in NC????? And the quilt on the barn is so pretty!
Ok, Key Lime Pie sounds delish right now on the front porch with the family.
Looks like your vacation/road trips are chock full of interesting sights. Can't wait to see where you are headed next.
You look wonderfully relaxed and 'chic' by the way. Humidity and 'cooler' weather seem to suit you fine!
I'll be checking in to see what you're up to. The heat is diminished here! It's only 81 today. :p

Hugs,
Jan

These are what memories are made of...summer, travel, kids and family but that barn with the quilt...I've never seen that before. Does everyone do that? I bet the boys are having a great time. Only 81 huh?...today will hover around 100...from one extreme to another around here. Have a fantastic time.

I'm not one for long road trips but I do have to say I have enjoyed the few hours that I have been driving them. After coming from Kuwait, your senses and awareness are so alive and you just suck everything in. Yours of course, was much, much longer than mine but Im sure it was worth it for that key lime pie that you love so much, oh yeah, and spending time with your family...HA! I am looking forward to your next road trip as I will be a part of that one....yahoo! See you and Gwen in NY girl and drive safely!!
