The morning of our May 23rd craft meeting, I sent a message to the group asking if anyone had bits of scrap yarn they could bring so that I could continue adding to this very scrappy giant granny blanket.
One member did bring what she quickly gathered on her way out the door.
Of course, once I was home, Rosie had to inspect and provide her paw of approval. :)
As you can see, the blanket has definitely grown by many rounds.
More blankets I'm working on that start out scrappy and then are added to with new matching yarn.
When they're still small, I can carry them with me for some car crochet.
Round and round and round ... calm, cozy comfort.
Sunday blessings.

I agree--they are very satisfying!!! I love your array of blankets--beautiful!
So cozy and cheerful!
The blanket looks wonderful, and I can imagine how calming it must be to keep going round after round.
Rosie clearly knows good yarn when she sees it.
That is a very satisfying sight. I love using scraps for blankets but I never have that many in progress at once! Ha! It's really nice of your friends to share their scraps with you. I've been offline for three days and I'm finding I missed a LOT over the weekend. So many of my friends were posting and I'm finding it difficult to catch up. :-)
Blessings and hugs,
Betsy
Glad to see Rosie is on the job inspecting your work, which is beautiful!
Lovely. The granny square might be humble, but each stitch is full of love. I adore blankets like yours. So pretty. Thank you for making the world a better place just by being you. Blessings always. Vicki

Such beautiful work in your crochet blanket and how sweet that friends help out with their stash. Such a great kitty inspector!
