Honestly, I don't know why I attempt to do anything every day. Somehow I always get sidelined or sidetracked in one way or another.
Take for instance, when I had big plans for The 100 Day Project that started on February 22nd. I was all gung ho and had many cross-stitch ideas for using up the scrap aida I have on hand -- but then February 28th happened and I couldn't concentrate to continue.
Now here I am doubling up on Every Day in May in only the first week of the month. :) Oh well!
On my way home from my Tuesday evening walk, I found this on top of a dumpster of trash so snagged it right away.
Someone instantly claimed it as her own (even though we already have one exactly the same, just in a little different colorway).
It's been overcast/dusty the past couple of days so I haven't walked. I bought yarn yesterday to add to granny blankets I've started with scrap yarn, so am now going round and round again. :)
Yesterday there was a snowstorm in Denver where my boys are while my mom and brother in Mississippi dealt with thunderstorms and tornado warnings overnight.
How's the weather where you are?

What a nice stool you found! Rosie probably thought it was only fair that it was for her. :)
I don't know what it is about me that I never have time to do what I set out to do. But I WANT to. By the way, I have time but I just don't know where it goes... Here the sky is completely clear blue and now night sky. Not a cloud. But cold. I´m waiting for "balcony-weather".
Enjoyed your post, and love how your cat has taken possession of the little stool. We are in the 80's today. Had some errans to run so had the AC in the car on high. Love all your creativity. Much talent and skill in your two hands.
Have a great weekend and Mother's Day. Yes, the weather is something all over the US.
Gosh, you are dealing with nasty weather everywhere with your family! We can't make up our minds here. Last week we were ready for air conditioning one day and turning on the furnace the next. Tonight I wore a coat out and almost left it as it turned warm before I left for home. And rain, so much rain. Lots of rain every day.
You've been busy with your projects! Yesterday was 100F and today it is only 80F and rain expected--much needed rain!!!!
