April so far has been mostly overcast.
With a sprinkling of rain here and there.
But on a blue sky day at the end of March, I took my latest crochet finish to the park for a photo shoot.
Lots of flowers are in bloom but soon will be drying up and dying off as it gets hotter. Weather predictions have us reaching 90 F this coming week.
So NOT looking forward to the excessive heat.
“Every tear is answered by a blossom
Every sigh with songs and laughter blent
April-blooms upon the breezes toss them
April knows her own, and is content.”

What a lovely array of flowers...You have such a good eye and I could almost smell those blooms.
A little heat is okay, but I am not a fan of excessive heat! Whew! The flowers are gorgeous!
I know--we have a few weeks of temperate weather before the sweltering heat hits here. The finished crochet blanket is so pretty---good job!
Such lushness! No flowers here for a while yet, but there are hints of green here and there. Snow in the forecast again this week.
