Photo Ops at the Park

It's a good thing I got my walk in this morning.  It was windy at the time, but by this afternoon it had become quite blustery and dusty so there was no evening walk.  While at my neighborhood shopping center for a few groceries, I also stopped by the craft store for some suitable yarn to crochet more rounds on my granny blanket -- up until now it's been made from scrap yarns.
Looking up.
Looking down.
(The book I'm currently reading.)

Wishing you a lovely day.

A windy, dusty walk does not sound too pleasant. You were smart to get it done in the morning. The colors in your granny blanket are so pretty. Are you enjoying the book?

So beautiful colours! On your blanket.
Boken låter intressant. Min relation till min mamma är så svår
Jag har en hel hylla med litteratur
från Mellanöstern och det står en liknande bok där som
handlar om två vänner... En Palestinier och en Israel...

Ha en fin kväll Tammy.

Really nice yarn colors, and I love the last photo of the marigolds! My mom had a large patch of marigolds. A spot of spring showed up today!! A surprise.

It's good that you got your morning walk in. I really like your beautiful blanket and the new colors will look great in it. I've always planted marigolds at all of our houses. Here, I have no yard so no marigolds now. Maybe someday I'll be home all summer and I can plant some on the balcony.
Blessings,
Betsy

Dear Tammy...Wow, that blanket is gorgeous. Is that knitting or crochet? (Pardon my ignorance.) You are very, VERY talented. We are in the middle of a snowstorm here in western Massachusetts. Oh boy. Looks like with ice predicted on top of it, I'm staying home today. I am afraid of ice! I'm so glad you are blogging daily, Tammy! I miss you when you are not blogging. Thanks for all the visits and comments on Writing Straight from the Heart. Love your visits. Hugs. Susan

Lovely new yarn, your blanket is lovely. I have bought lots of yarn today for my crochet class, we have lots of small long term projects on the go. I haven't managed a walk today so I will go twice a far tomorrow.

You got a lot done with just scrap yarn! And the new colors will play nicely with all the others :) I can almost smell those marigolds.
