... This is the solstice, the still point
of the sun, its cusp and midnight,
of the sun, its cusp and midnight,
the year’s thresholdand unlocking, where the pastlets go of and becomes the future;the place of caught breath, the doorof a vanished house left ajar. ...
Sending light and love.

Lovely post. I saw this and smiled. Do you realize that every where you go, you leave sunshine behind. Thank you for sharing your world with us. :)
Dearest Tammy,
Yes, the solstice is today and daylight will start to be added from now on.
Hate those dark and dreary days before Christmas.
The entire world needs love and light—lots of light.
Big hugs,
Mariette
Such lovely words and I love the crocheted heart on the tree.

Happy winter solstice...starting today (the 22nd), the days will finally start to get longer again! We're in the midst of a snowstorm right now and bitter cold temps. Yuck!
Happy Winter Solstice, Tammy and a very Merry Christmas.
Belated Happy Winter Solstice, Tammy! Thanks for your visit to my blog. As I write this, enjoying a lovely fire and a glass (or two) of wine!
I think Stitchy McFloss said it perfectly: "wherever you go, you leave sunshine behind." Thank you, and I hope you and yours are having a lovely, peaceful, happy Christmas!
Love that heart! Hope you're enjoying the holiday season, dear Tammy. All the best for the new year!
