A bit of car crochet while my husband went to check on some things at his warehouse. He had two containers to unload early this morning and said it was like a sauna inside the truck.
Friday is the only day he doesn't work (unless there's a shipment that needs unloading like today), so it's the one day that we go out to eat if we can.
After more than a year we were back at our favorite Thai restaurant. I get the vege tom yum and it is absolutely delicious. The cabbage and cucumber are to cool your mouth off if things get a little too spicy. I just avoid too many red peppers at one time and it's all good. :)
No walks today as the humidity is absolutely stifling.
Hopefully tomorrow will be better.
Let the true colors of your heart illuminate the world.
Have a fab Friday!

I think the pretty hearts you leave to brighten up spots is amazing! You dinner out sounds fantastic!
Dearest Tammy,
Oh, how I ENVY you for having eaten at the Thai restaurant...
Like you, the hot peppers have been good for me, never had any problem that it was too hot or spicy. Our boss in Jakarta would often take us to an authentic Thai restaurant. Miss that!
Too bad that your husband had to show up for unloading a truck on his 'off' day but it got done before the heat got worse.
Lovely photos.
Hugs,
Mariette
Love all of your colorful hearts! They're so pretty. I love Thai food but unfortunately, can't handle hot spices anymore. I used to laugh at my mom as that happened to her as she got older and of course, what goes around comes around. ;-) When I get Thai food, I have to order it mild and even then, sometimes it's too spicy for my gut! Glad you had a chance to get out to lunch today.
I love your precious little hearts!
Beautiful hearts. I'm so glad that you and your Hubby take time together. Things here are closing down again just as your places begin to open up.
We had a day of coolness yesterday but then the heat and humidity returned today.
Blessings,
Betsy
The hearts are darling! And Thai dinner, yum, tho I can't have the spicy I do love Thai cuisine.
Oh Tammy. Your hearts are soooo adorable. Thanks for your many visits and comments, too, on Writing Straight from the Heart. You are a faithful friend. I hope your weekend is blessed to the max. Hugs. Susan
A lovely post, Tammy! Love the hearts and that Tom-Yum looks yummy!
Hi again Tammy! I'm sitting here late at night and have not yet gone to bed. But for you, it's already tomorrow now, right?
Your pictures of the food made me so hungry! Time for breakfast.
Before a little sleep. Reverse!
(It's so much fun to be up and running again. Here in my hobby room.)
Sounds cozy that you go out to eat once a week and have some time together. My husband is at home all the time right now and sometimes I go crazy ... Although you should be happy and grateful that you have each other.
Thanks for your nice comments on my blog!
I'm just as happy every time, you know.
Sussie
Glad you were able to get out to your favorite restaurant, and with your favorite man, too!
