Sunday Saunter

Hello everyone!

I'm happy to report that I am currently clicking away on a wireless keyboard.

Although the computer repair shop we normally go to still hasn't re-opened, one of the technicians was able to come to our house yesterday.  He wasn't able to find a keyboard replacement in the market, so for now, I am wireless; and if I'd known how inexpensive it was to be so, I would have gotten one of these weeks ago.

I'm also happy to report that full on walking weather is back, with daytime temperatures below 100 F and nights dropping into the 70's.  Woohoo!  That makes me very happy indeed.
Last night I did a little cross-stitch of some bees so took it along with me for a photoshoot.
The bees are loving the lantana right now.
It's always a lovely time of year when the weather is mild and color is returning to gardens.
I found a curtain ring while wandering so brought it home and transformed it with cross-stitch and crochet. Even the ribbon is recycled.
Well, it's late and our internet is going super slow so this post is taking longer than expected.
I'll leave you with a little love.
Have a blessed day!

It's so good to hear from you Tammy. Love your sweet little bees and how neat that you were able to recycle the shower ring.
It's COLD here today with teens predicted by weeks end. I think it could be a long, cold and snowy winter. Hopefully we're cozy and warm here in the RV.
Enjoy your ability to get outside and walk again and take care of yourself my dear friend.
Blessings,B

Dearest Tammy,
So good to read you here again and to see that the weather is so favorable right now.
Those lantanas look lovely and makes the bees very happy.
Your embroidery is so lovely and especially that recycled curtain ring you used to transform into a very special gift.
Sending you hugs, also from my eldest Barty, he's 16 and 7 months as of yesterday the 17th... He's not well.

How wonderful to be able to walk around and enjoy the beautiful flowers and bees. Lantana blossoms always remind me of Fruit Loop Cereal with their various colours. Your cross stitch projects are so cute!

Nice to read and see your update, Tammy. Lovely photos and crafts. :) I might start back up on my granny square blanket that I began earlier this year now that our weather is cooler, though I'm still enjoying my morning walks outdoors even though it's in the 30s some mornings. So long as the wind isn't blowing, it's lovely for walking even in the cold.

Dearest Tammy,
On Monday morning we went with Barty to vet Amanda. She gave us prednisone (steroids) in a tablet, to be halved each day and antibiotics from a dropper twice a day. He's not eating well and it takes enormous coaching for him to eat a teaspoon full of food + pill and dropper liquid. Yesterday at first went rather well but not in the evening. I fed him again at midnight, at two and five in the morning... Now he is outside on the lawn, wearing his new harness that Pieter bought him this afternoon. He loves to lounge on the lawn... so we let him. After my tea with mixed unsalted nuts and rice cake I will take him inside, to our Rose Suite where he lives with me...
Not easy but we try to do our very best!
Big hugs,
Mariette

Hi : Tammy
At first I am honored to visit your blog. it's actually treasures I did not know you, but I am among the participants in the blog "rostrose : Traude i saw your reply post. I am from Egypt, and I knew that you reside in Kuwait. Of course Kuwait is an Arab country
made me happier when I write to you now , so that now Kuwait was suffering from Corona cases, but I think that the numbers are low now and also the weather was harsh
I liked the handicrafts that you manufacture, how attractive, eye-catching and professional.
Welcome again and wait for my blog soon. You will find very useful information
Have a Nice Time
Mahmoud

Great to hear you have a wireless keyboard set up.

Lovely pics, as always, Tammy. Such a pity that Lantana is seen as a noxious weed here in Queensland — they have such pretty flowers.

The bees cross-stitch is beautiful! What an amazing transformation of the curtain ring — so pretty!

I hope you are enjoying a beautiful week ~ Hugs

Dearest Tammy,
how wonderful that you are able to post wireles! I am also happy with you that the temperatures are now more pleasant for walks. In Kuwait, the weather is now obviously really good. In Austria, it has already come to an end with nice weather, it's autumn, mostly wet and cold, there are rarely warm days and bees. Your bee embroidery is wonderful - and the idea of "transforming" and decorating the curtain ring is great!
You told me that you always see a lot of garbage and that you find it depressing. Unfortunately, there is also a lot of trash lying around here. In Austria there are currently initiatives to introduce deposits for aluminum cans and plastic bottles in order to avoid littering. One of the very rich Austrian corporations - Red B*ll - fights back doggedly, although most of the cans that are found in nature were produced by this company. Greed and disinterest in the environment make me so sad ... It is all the more important always to have a few things in life that makes us happy and grateful.
Sending you lots of hugs and best wishes from Austria,
Traude

Tammy - so nice to see a post from you. Glad that your weather is allowing you to get back outside for your walks. I know how much it means to you. Fabulous up-cycle on that shower ring - who would have guessed! Enjoy your week ahead!

Glad to hear you got things sorted out with a keyboard and that your weather has cooled down enough for you to enjoy. And here I am in the state of IL where it is getting cold and dreary. Where we already have to bundle up just to take a walk. Where Seasonal Affective Disorder is rearing its ugly head already.

Love your bee cross stitch and how you used a found curtain rod to make that piece!

PS - Oops, not curtain rod but curtain RING. lol

The little re-purposed curtain ring is simply perfect! So cute.

Glad you are having nice walking weather. It has been cold and foggy here.
