So Far

We've been from Kuwait via Istanbul to Toronto where my oldest son met up with us.
Road trip number 1 took us to Albany where my youngest attended his college orientation.

Road trip number 2.

Where we visited New York City and several towns in New Jersey
Road trip number 3 took us back to Ontario for a few days, where we left our Colorado boy to fly home.
And now it's just me and college-bound boy in Boston.
20 days of travel so far.
About 19 more to go.

I don't usually bring my laptop on vacations, but needed it for several reasons and so here I am.
It's a drizzly day where we're at so we are hanging out and I'm catching up on things that I've been neglecting along the way,

Hope all is well with all of you.
Best wishes,

Dearest Tammy,
Oh so happy you both arrived safely to Toronto via Istanbul!
One never knows nowadays and so many things have happened...
I did recognize Time Square in on of your photos.
Well, rain does make you happy in a way but not during your time of driving.
Enjoy your time here in the USA.
Sending you hugs,
Mariette

Oh Tammy, how I wish I lived closer to Boston. I feel you are so nearby but it's about a two and a half hour drive from where we live. So excited for your boy to be there. That's a great city. Not clear on the Albany/Boston connection. Your other boy is in Colorado, right? Who is going to school in Albany? Wow, you are doing a LOT of traveling. So happy to see your post. Susan

p.s.Whoops. Just re-read your post. You were just VISITING Boston, right? Your boy will be in Albany? Okay, I get it. So excited for him. Susan

You've done a lot of traveling so far, Tammy, and it sounds like there's more to come. A drizzly day is good for staying indoors and relaxing a little. Enjoy the rest of your trip.

Huge travels!! I still can't get over how many days - the only time we might ever be able to be gone that long is when we are both retired because can only get about 1 week at the most and we spread the vacation time across the year when needed. Actually, Jim always reminds me that when we're retired we won't have money to travel so I guess we will just be at home, LOL. That's okay with me, as I'm sure it is with you too. I would grow weary of being on the road that long and our 2 cats can barely handle when we're gone just a day or two. Jim and I went away for 4 days for our anniversary and Sarah was home taking care of the cats who are both very needy and Lucy (my Russian Blue baby) had gone into depression mode, not even leaving her little basket. She is very attached to me and needless to say, very happy when I returned home last night.

Continued safe and fun travels to you!
Linda

I hope you're having a good time with your college-bound son! What a nice, long trip you are having! Do you have family in Toronto? I know it's going to be hard for you to go back home, knowing both your boys are in the US.

Dear wonderful generous Tammy, I got your sweet package when I arrived home after our 2 week alpine lake camping trip and I love the washcloth and the adorable coffee cup coaster.. it's under my water cup right now. You're the most thoughtful person! I'm glad you're getting to spend special mom/son time before you have to hug him goodbye. :-( Have fun and hang in there, you will see him again soon. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
