From Hazy to Dusty

Hot, humid and hazy described this morning's weather.  Despite that, hubby and I got out for a 45 minute walk.
By the time lunchtime rolled around, it had gotten much worse.
We met friends at a new to us restaurant called Al Marsa which is in the basement of one of the small hotels here.  Very similar to another seafood restaurant we go to, but much less expensive.
We were supposed to go to a Palestinian Exhibition afterwards, but the weather did a number on my head so we came straight back home.
Hoping the throbbing will stop soon so I can get some creative juices flowing for a crafty evening.

Happy Friday!

Love all of your photos in this post.

Here, after a night of tragic tornadoes in Illinois, the warm/humid temps we had been enjoying gave way to clear skies, a much cooler 60 degrees, and wind today, but it's still a lovely day. I prefer it to be warmer, but 60 all things considered (since we're just out of winter) is still very nice! :)

I just came back from my hour-long lunchtime walk at work. I'm glad that I can fit this walk into my work day and because I don't traditionally eat anything during the day other than a little fruit or salad after my walk, the time slot of 11:30-12:30 each day works for me. Evenings are now reserved for yard work - mowing and gardening has begun - and we're in the middle of a construction project within our garage party space so that will take up part of our weekend. Might fit in a bike ride though.

Enjoy your time,
Linda

That restaurant looks very nice but the air quality in the last picture isn't so great. I can see why it made you sick. Hopefully you'll be better very soon and back to your active life.
Blessings my friend,
Betsy

Those are some dark skies over you today Tammy. I'm sorry about your headache! I do hope it went away so you could get something fun done. It's always so good to see photos of your city and your surroundings. I loved the doves that decided to nest on the ledge at your work. It will be fun seeing how the couple bring in their family.
Have a wonderful weekend sweetie!

Dearest Tammy,
When you get a throbbing head from the weather conditions that's no fun. Hope you feel fine now and did enjoy some crafting still.
The food from the restaurant looked very yummy. Loved your walking photos.
Hugs,
Mariette

Too hot here for April - in the 80's for a couple of days and our a/c is on the blink! Pollen is getting heavy so our haze is from that annual happening - everything turning yellow, people sneezing and coughing, granddaughter unable to sing because of her throat and allergies - oh my, life is hard sometimes!! Mother nature you are hard on us.

Hope your head is better by the time you read this dear Tammy.
Hugs - Mary

Whew. That weather would have done me in, too. So sorry about your headache; hope it was quickly relieved and the crafting commenced.

That sounds very oppressive - I hope you are feeling better now. Humidity even at lower temps really wipes me out. And once during a visit to Nebraska it was 105F and 99% humidity...ugh.
Here's to clear skies and fresh air :)

Oh Tammy, I do hope your headache has gone, a shame you missed the exhibition!
Hot and humid isn't me either!
On our upcoming trip to Ireland and Europe we are flying via Dubai but not staying.
Early morning walks are lovely!

Hope your head is feeling better. I can't handle humidity at all myself. Even growing up in New Jersey you would think I would used to it. Thank heavens Montana is dry! You take care. Love the photos! Kit

Your photos are amazing. We are having a horrible allergy season her this year. I'm using my allergy nasal spray almost every day recently. Headaches are not fun.
Thanks for your nice comments on my blog. I hope to find more time for blogging this month. Love reading yours. I can visit places I'll never go through your eyes and camera. Thanks.

As a fellow headache sufferer you know I am sending you a big get well hug. The dust is really amazing from this perspective. We are already at 90 degrees and humid, although the evenings are still tolerable for a little walk with Little Buddy.
Hugs and get well,
Meredith

I am always amazed by your photos of desert dust storms! I'm hoping your headache is gone. I suffer from migraines, so I always feel for anyone with head pain.

Hope your head felt better quickly. I'm having trouble with allergies even though I'm taking my meds. I had the window open in the office and the guy across the street was mowing and boom, boom started the head. I don't know how you handle all the dust. Take care of yourself.
Hugs,
Sharon
