Tea on Tuesday and Another Thank You

Happy Tuesday everyone! Today I am joining Kimmie at Art in Red Wagons for tea.

This evening I had Tazo Refresh tea which is an herbal infusion described as "a bracing blend of mint with a pinch of tarragon". It went really well with the brownies I made this afternoon.

We had rain during the night and the sky was so dark this morning, but the afternoon turned out to be cool and absolutely beautiful.

It seems that the postal workers in this country finally did a bit of work since I received three packages all on the same day. The third came from Sweden.

In August, Sussie from the blog Lotusblommans had an August giveaway of her Marie Antoinette art cards and I was the winner. This package arrived at the mail sorting center in Kuwait on September 19th; it was then sent to the Salmiya post office on October 27th; and I received it on November 20th. If only these packages could tell the story of what they've been through to get here.

Thank you so much Sussie for your lovely cards. And thanks Kimmie for hosting Tea on Tuesday.

Blessings to one and all!

Loved the rain that came down today. It was so refreshing. Amazing how long it takes for the mail to get through....hey, at least your getting it. When I saw your brownies, I started to think about my annual cookie festival. Not sure if it will be the mass production of last year, but I would like to try to carry it on. Enjoy your tea and brownies..see ya Saturday!

Love and Hugs,
Melissa

That happens here, too. I order a couple things and they both come the same day. Great! I love to get them but it would be so nice to have a surprise two different days. Your tea and brownie sound like a lovely break. Tammy, I love having the clock on your blog as well as the current weather. The clock especially. It helps to keep in touch better. Diane

Congratulations on all you little wins. It must be a real treat to receive gifts like those in the post - even if you do have to wait forever for them! I hope your ankle improves soon.

Hi Tammy, lovely gifts, and I adore your little crocheted heart...are they hard to make? I only know how to crochet a flower that I learned from a YouTube video. :-)

Dearest Tammy,

Just a brief vist as I'm not feeling well... got a cold and am so tired from driving in the heavy rain at dark. Going to Atlanta today was quite a challenge as the traffic was so heavy.

Love to you,

Mariette

Hi Tammy! I am so happy you finally received them! I was a bit worried to be honest and thought they might been loss forever. Who knows where they have been before they came to you? ;)
I think I´m going to celebrate with brownies and tea. I have some brownie recipe here somewhere. :)
The rain must have felt like a blessing after all the warm and sunny days!
Hope you are having a great weekend and thank you to everyone writing so kindly about my cards.
Peace and friendship!
