Friday Night With Friends

It's always nice to find that there is a nice, new place to check out in Kuwait.

We met friends last night at a new restaurant complex called The Village.

One of my favorite restaurants here serves a fusion of Middle Eastern and North African cuisine.

While everyone else only ordered coffee or tea.

I had the vegetarian tabliya. It's a thin crust pizza in three sections: roasted eggplant with yogurt sauce, spinach and basil, and tomato/onions/garlic. Delicious!

Hope you had a great Friday, too.

Best wishes for a wonderful weekend. Tammy

Looks like you had a fun night! That's great :)

We had a low-key Friday night, but it was good. Jim and I hung out in our theater room watching a movie - that was after our evening bike ride. It's getting brisk here for those rides - will have to turn back to walking I think, though I never gave that up myself.

Well, onto our Saturday - groceries.

Hope your weekend is grand.

Dearest Tammy,

That looks yummy! Have a great time for the coming days. No, the date palm doesn't even grow out like being in a tropical area IN the ground... But I still love it, without ever having dates on it.
Love to you,

Mariette

Hi Tammy! Thanks for this post. I've been so curious about where you live. I haven't been out of the US much, so I am always fascinated about other places. I love to try new food too, so I would love to visit you one day. LOL
Here's a question...what kind of place to you buy your art stuff like yarn, paints, etc?
