Yesterday Once More

Wow! All I can say is this first day back to school went by really, really fast.

Yesterday morning I met a couple of friends for brunch.

We wanted to go to Dean & Deluca but it was jam packed so we opted for a French restaurant called Brasserie De L'Toile.

None of us had been there before so it was nice to try someplace new. The restaurant had a lovely ambience, was very clean and bright, and had great service.

Our hot drinks came first and were served on separate little trays.

I ordered the Oriental Platter which was delicious! (And completely gone by the time I finished.)

Sadly, my days of leisure are over. Back to reality! Hope all is well in your corner of the world.

Peace & blessings, Tammy

Your brunch looks WAY more appealing than what I had today. A piece of cheese and some crackers.

I suppose it's a 'good thing' that your time back at work is moving along smartly. And going to such a lovely place to eat can't hurt!

Sun is out here but with the wind, it's only about 35 degrees outside. So a good day to stay inside. I SHOULD be cleaning out my closets, but this is more fun!

Yes, welcome back to reality. Why is it time passes so quickly and even more so the older we get. I remember when I was young (high school times) it seemed like it took forever for an hour to pass. As least even with the quick time we now see its filled with wonderful things. Your time at the new restaurant looks very inviting, like maybe a do again? Enjoy.

Oh, that lunch looks delicious! Doesn't it always seem we run out of time when we are on a holiday or vacation? There are just never enough days for all we want to do. Well, I'm sure you enjoyed all the days you did have off.
Have a wonderful week,
Sharon :-)

Looks like a nice place to have lunch and very delicious. Hope you have a great new week.

For me, today's start is rough - every muscle aches, I'm sunburned, and so tired that I nearly fell asleep while driving to work. I'm greatly in need of a weekend, and yet we just had one, lol. That's how it is with home improvement projects - they tend to take up the entire weekend and then leave us exhausted for the start of the work week.

well, at least you had a few days off!, which is more than many of us can say. Having some time off makes you think all the hard work of the "routine" is worth it, don't you think so?
have a great day!, and a great week ahead!
