Happy Pink Saturday!

My poor geraniums have been battered by the wind and dust storms we've had over the past couple of weeks. They've lost some petals but are still hanging in there.

Another Sugar Spun Doily is complete. I'm crocheting with a thin cotton rather than thread so it comes out bigger and a bit more ruffly than Glor's version.

Flowers that will be used as embellishments on other projects are being worked up from leftover bits of yarn. And a recent find of Cath Kidston tissues will find their way into gift bags for friends.

This is our last day of Spring Break. Back to school tomorrow. Yikes!

Please visit Beverly at How Sweet the Sound for more pretty pinks (a whole lot more!).

Have a great day! FRIENDSHIP BLESSINGS, Tammy

I have brought my geraniums up from the basement and hope to have them in pots soon so they can live again this summer. You put out your dolies as fast as you type.

Hugs to you all

Lovely pinks! I love your geranium :o) I have a bright red one in both my front and my back patio, all big, blooming and looking gorgeous. Don't they smell nice?
Have a lovely Saturday! (it's Friday night as I'm writing this to you)

Such beautiful pinks, Tammy! I love the sweet sugar spun doilies you've been making--wish I could follow patterns in crochet--my brain just won't let me do it!

So glad you've enjoyed a wonderful spring break with your boys--family time is so precious!

Your geraniums still look beautiful too me. What a gorgeous pink color. We've been whipped by wind here too. It's one of the "perks" of living in the desert, isn't it?

Thank you so much for your sweet comment for Jordan. He continues to improve daily :-)
Blessings,
Marcia

Hi Tammy! I love the way the doily looks with the thin cotton. It has a wonderful texture and a much softer appearance. You do beautiful work. I'm fascinated by all the places you've been. They look like an artist's paradise! I once lived in Cascais, Portugal for six months, and I regret not having photographed more extensively while I was there. Oh what I would have done for a digital camera back then :) Thank you so much for visiting my blog and for your kind words. Have a wonderful weekend! Terri

Dearest Tammy,

I really feel for your geraniums and they try so hard to produce flowers no matter how tough their living is... That is teaching us a lesson.
Your crocheting is almost industrial!
Have a great Saturday and than it's off to work again.

Lots of love,

Mariette

Hi Tammy,

Geraniums are such hardy plants and they seem to come back from the heat or cold.
Your flowers are so pretty and great for a happy pink Saturday. I love the pretty crocheted doilies. Good luck with going back to school.

Hugs
Carolyn

Tammy, you are so talented! My sister does hand work like that, and I know what it takes to do it. Lovely pinks all around. I love Kath, too!

Your geranium is the perfect shade of pink. I saw some the other day and really want to go nab a bunch before the weather gets too hot in Florida for them. I adore geraniums. My mother always loved the red ones, but I love the pink (and salmon, too)!

I, like you, hope they get blogger straigthened out. I am using the old editor which I much prefer to the new, and this might be a way to make us change. If I remember correctly, I also got some kind of notice that a lot of my blog is used up. I was like WHAT? So the next thing you know, they will be expecting us to pay. I already pay for extra storage. Anyhow, it's so nice to meet you and thanks for commiserating. :-)

Happy Pink Saturday to you...

XO,

Sheila :-)

Your geranium is a lovely pink shade. I have a few of those tissue packets I bought a few years back, not Cath Kidston though, but I find they are too pretty to use!

The geraniums are beautiful. Looks like the have survived well. I think the doily is quite an accomplishment. I don't crochet, I don't the patience. My Mom did beautiful work. She was a crocheting machine. Thanks for your blog advice. I hope I can get if figured out. Have a great week. Hugs, Ginger

Hi Tammy, Just catching up a bit. Your doilies are so pretty.

Your geraniums are looking better than mine...but soon as I have some buds. Beautiful picture.
I love your doily and flowers. That is a pretty color of pink too. I just started crocheting again after many years, but with larger needle and yarn. Yours is so delicate.
