For all the Days I Missed

Thankful Thursday! After the Wednesday sandstorm that closed schools down, we've had better weather since.

Still a bit hazy but the dust is high in the sky and not blowing all over the place.
Friday Finale! Zack's last official game of the little league season. Although his team lost, he played one of his best games. (That's him up to bat.)

Saturday Ceremony! His team was in Saturday morning's championship game and lost but the boys were all in good spirits about it. Closing ceremonies were held that afternoon and we are so happy that baseball season has come to an end. (Zack is the last one on the left waving his hat as they walk on by.)

Sunday Start! Another granny stripe on the hook. This time for a baby boy to be born in June. (No, I didn't finish the border on the other afghan but I will, soon.)

Monday Meow! Jingles turns 7 this month.

Tea on Tuesday! While in India, we enjoyed a lot of spiced chai with chapati while on road trips. We brought a bit of that flavor home with us and have been enjoying afternoon snacks.

Unfortunately we don't have this view of Incredible India!

After 5 days of problems, I was happy to get home today and find that our internet is back in business! Hope everyone is having a terrific Tuesday! Friendship Blessings, Tammy

Hello, hello! Good to have you back! Busy week indeed. It's my last day of work; will be enjoying some days off because of Holy Week...woohoo! Will be attending religious activities and traditions, and hopefully will tackle some projects at home. Looking forward to all!...if only I could get more days like these regularly...Congratulations to Jingles!!! Don't they fill your life with happiness in a very unique way?
have great - hopefully dust-less - days!

Hi,
Happy Tuesday to you too! Those are all some good happenings. :)

It's very rainy and stormy here today. They're calling for the possibility of Tornados this evening, though I'm thinking it's actually too cool, temperature wise, for that threat. Hopefully they will just be wrong about that! I'm glad for the rain - it's helping my gardens to grow wonderfully.

Hope you have a pleasant remainder of the week.

WELCOME HOME TAMMY, THAT WAS NICE THAT YOU GOT TO GO AWAY.
LOOKS LIKE YOU HAD A NICE TIME. GREAT PICTURE OF INDIA,
HOPE YOU DON'T HAVE ANYMORE SAND STORMS. WE HAD SOME MORE RAIN, VERY GLOOMY TODAY
BUT SPRING IS IN THE AIR..AND AS MARTHA STEWART WOULD SAY...
THAT'S A GOOD THING. HAVE A GOOD DAY. RIZZI

I missed you......glad you're back on the air and that the weather is better. Scheez, enough!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JINGLES! You don't look a day over 3!

Chai tea...yummy. I bet the Chai we get here is nothing like what you have there, tho!

Is Zack playing again next year? He seems to enjoy it.

Love those colors you are using for the new baby-to-be. Soft and sweet, like a newborn!

Did I mention it's blowing snow sideways right at the moment? Ah, Spring in the Rockies.

(((hugs)))

Hi Tammy, Your afternoon snack looks yummy. I'm glad you are back up and running for you. I don't know how I'd handle dust storms! We're cold and rainy here. Hoping for warmth soon.
Take care, dear friend!

Welcome back. Our neck of the woods is experiencing another cold streak again. Sure makes the kiddo's track meets cold and seem just that much longer! Thank goodness for hot chocolate!

Have a great week.

Glad you are back with us. Computers are great when they are working properly and can give us reasons to pull out hair when they aren't cooperating. Glad that you were able post your week in photos. Love the afghan. The colors are wonderful.

Welcome back, missed you. But see you're still as busy as always. Love those striped grannies, lovely for a little boy. It will be cherished I'm sure.

Dearest Tammy,

Sorry girl for having to live through so many natural inconveniences + being cut off from the Internet... Not easy to deal with. Hope the dust really did settle this time and will leave you all alone for a while.
Good for Zack to have his sport, that is important for his age.
Oh, and Jingles turned seven, like our Barty who turned 7 on March 17th... Hope they live a long life with their human family!
From India you did bring some great flavors home and I would enjoy sharing it with you; miss it too. But we have three Indian couples so we do get spoiled at times with their delicious foods and snacks!!!
A big hug and let's go forward with hopes of better days.

Welcome home Tammy and thanks so much for stopping by my blog for a visit. Give the postcards a go - I made up a bunch then stitched when I had time - they came together far faster than I had anticipated. It is so odd to see photos of sand storms. I've had several nursing friends work in Kuwait through the years....

Happy Birthday Mr. Jingles. Has it been 7 years already???? I can't believe you even remember when you got him. You love your kitty!! Glad to hear baseball season ended with a bang and that everyone was in such good spirits...maybe they were just happy to get it done and over with too;) Boy, you have been busy with those baby afghans. Did you ever get Elena's finished. People are popping out baby's faster than you can knit. Hope you don't have too many more problems with the net especially after getting more dust today....BLAH! Hope it passes before we travel on Friday....yikes. I'll give you a ring before then, until then, wishing sunshine and rainbows your way:)
