International Crochet Day

After school today, a friend and I headed over to the Sadu House to celebrate
International Crochet Day.
There were many items on display made by a crochet group.
Blankets
 Toys and baby items.
 Clothes and accessories
And the biggest ball of yarn and hook I ever did see.
We sat and crocheted for awhile and visited with others who were doing the same.
All in all a lovely way to spend a couple of hours.
Happy crocheting!

I will celebrate tonight by getting out the afghan that I have been working on and celebrate in my own quiet way.

WOW and again WOW, such a hook and BIG yarn I've never, ever seen!
What is that warning above your last photo: Be careful of your head...
That must be fun to get together with so many women and crochet a variety of pieces!

  10. Fantastic to see International Crochet Day celebrated in a land so far away from here... and to think it all started in a little old apple tree on the Ranch up on Deadman Crick! I'm just flabbergasted! Thank you SO much for promoting the Day!

  24. WOW! All the creations are sooo lovely. Beautiful photos. And a nice "get-together".

When I tried to crochet it always ended up as a total disaster! No talent at all in that area.

I wish you a peaceful weekend!
