Merry Christmas

Pumpkin pie for breakfast is allowed on Christmas Day, right?
While yesterday we had a more traditional Christmas meal, today we chose to go out.
Yesterday we had roasted sweet potatoes, and today sweet potato tempura.
Afterwards we walked over to Movenpick for coffee.  Yesterday was gray and drizzly, but today was nice weather for sitting outside.

Wishing you all blessings of peace and happiness this holiday season.

  1. Well, I had cranberry cake - and ice cream! - for breakfast, so pumpkin pie sounds just about right to me. And now I'm going to be daydreaming about sweet potato tempura!
All best wishes of the season to you and yours, Tammy :)

  7. Merry Christmas sweet friend to you and your entire family! I love tempura batter on anything! It's warm and sunny here too....doesn't even feel like the Christmas's I grew up in, in the North but soon enough I hope to be back and maybe next year I'll have a "white" Christmas. Have a wonderful holiday!

  11. Merry Christmas to you too! :)
Thanks again for the lovely card that arrived right on time on Christmas Eve.

It's very rainy and gray here and supposed to be like this for the next many days with flash flood warnings (though we have no worries of that here really other than just some extra water in the low areas of the back yard - no rivers or anything nearby).

I've been pretty good over my entire break about not eating too many sweets, though I have been eating things that I normally don't on my normal-time work days... so I have to take it back a notch now because my stomach is saying "Where's the normal few pieces of fruit and that's it?" ;) I plan to be one of the few people not gaining any weight during this time and who is continuing on her weight loss even through the holidays. I know, I'm no fun, but at least I'm dedicated, ha ha.

Hope you have a great week ahead. I'm off work still for a good long time, but not long enough. ;)
