Happy!

When it comes to music and movies, I sometimes feel like I live under a rock.
This song was apparently released in November and I only heard it about 2 weeks ago.
Listening to it first thing in the morning helps set the mood for the day.  When I need a zap of energy and inspiration, I turn it on.  Sometimes I feel the need to listen to it over and over and over again.
Be that room without a roof!
And have a happy day!

  6. Gotta love mood-lifting, energizing music! (And I am WAY behind you on the music/movie line...Netflix has introduced me to entire series that I missed, going back to the 80s.)

  11. I never heard it until just a few days ago...in fact I never heard of Pharrell Williams until the Grammy's. And I LOVE music so where have I been?!! This is a wonderful song and should be everyone's daily anthem. Happy solves so many things in life...

  12. It is a snappy tune.............glad you found it! How can you not tap your feet and dance around?
COLD and SNOWY here again and we've shoveled tons in the last week. We were going skiing tomorrow but it's going to be sub-zero so we'll wait.
Snowboarding: looks easy but is WAY hard. Dave took lessons once and was told that you'll fall at least 50 times before it makes sense. Some people never get it! Glad Yusef is giving these new things a go, though!
Oh, and I'm so jealous that you already have tomatoes. Sobbbbbbbing

  16. Dearest Tammy,
Haha, I live already for decades under a rock and I don't even regret it. Especially when moving to another continent and dealing with so many languages, time to do things is so limited. So I let go of that and I would no doubt be a poor candidate for any music or movie related quiz. So be it! But living happy every day is far more important and that has to come from within your own heart and cannot be dictated by others.
    Hugs,
    Mariette

  26. I don't keep with new music anymore. Now if I had a young son I might. Or if I was just younger since I forgot your son is away. It is a nice song. I like jazz. Enjoyed your pics on your previous post. Happy place where fresh food can be found. Blessings.

  35. Sorry the link doesn't work for you! I found it on Pinterest, too, if you can see that http://www.pinterest.com/pin/189573465535561767/ If you can't see it, it's a sampler that says "An Early Morning Walk is a Blessing for the Whole Day", with a border of leaves and yellow flowers, and a scene with pine trees, mountains, a lake, and a house, with lots of swirly clouds in the sky.

  36. I posted this earlier, but I don't think it "took." I just wanted to say that I found a picture of the cross stitch on Pinterest, if you can see it there: http://www.pinterest.com/pin/189573465535561767/ If not, it's a sampler that says "An Early Morning Walk is a Blessing for the Whole Day." Seems so perfect for you!
