I have always been delighted at the prospect of a new day, a fresh try, one more start, with perhaps a bit of magic waiting somewhere behind the morning.

I love the slow pace of a weekend without plans. We ventured out for lunch yesterday but other than that, we've been content to stay at home. There has been walking, cooking, baking and lots and lots of crocheting. 42 granny squares for the baby blanket are done.
And now so is the weekend.
Time to say goodnight.
For tomorrow it is back to school.
Hope you are having a wonderful weekend in your corner of the world.
Just wonderful photos and quotes today..I wonder what your cat was thinking when you took that sweet photo?
ReplyDeleteHope your week back at school is a good one.

Enjoyed the quotes and photos. Yes, weekends like that are nice...I try to have more of those these days.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful post. A lazy weekend is wonderful, isn't it? X
ReplyDeleteLovely thoughts and photos.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, here - our weekend has involved hacking (as in heavy coughs), fevers and aches. That would me and now Jim. Hopefully the kids don't follow. Thankfully my energy level is better today, but still not good enough for me to venture out on my walk and the worst of it is just settling in for Jim I'm afraid.
It's been an awful winter sickness wise here and we're not alone... an epidemic it seems in most areas here and everywhere we go, we hear people with the same hacking cough that lingers. I'm shocked because we do everything right at our house - tons of rest, eating right, exercise, and hand washing and still - the dreaded illness hits our home once again. Boo hoo.
Hope your week goes well. Ours is a short one with a 4-day weekend coming up. :)
Linda
Lovely leisurely weekend...glorious! May your week be filled with Sunshine Smiles...

ReplyDeleteWhat a relaxing post. I used to love weekends full of activities and excitment. Now my favourite weekends are cups of tea in bed in the mornings, with nothing to talk about other then how we are going to chill. Rare but lovely. X
