Some Finished Projects

I have bookmarked so many projects that I would like to try.  So many projects, so little time.  But yesterday I did crochet my first little teacup using a pattern posted at Treasures Made From Yarn.  I'm not always successful with every pattern I try, but this was one very easy!
I continue to save jars and then crochet covers for them ... no pattern required.  I just make it up as I go along.  A few of these were given as gifts yesterday along with matchboxes that I decorated with bits of scrapbook paper and lace.
Another basket, this time with the top folded down
And finally, this was supposed to be a bookmark made with thread but I was using thicker cotton so didn't finish the whole pattern.  Can you tell what the design is supposed to be?
I hope your Valentine's Day was filled with lots of love and sweet surprises!

Best wishes and blessings, Tammy

  1. All of your projects came out very nice. The little basket would be a great place to hold every-day jewelry. I can see the heart in your last project - it would be really cute to use for decorating a notebook or a card. :)

  3. Love the teacup! I was "knitting" again yesterday but not sure it's the hobby for me. I need to do some crocheting to get my confidence back! The heart is going to make a beautiful bookmark. How big is the basket? Are they washable? I'm thinking I would like several of these in my kitchen for onions, potatoes etc. The ones in the store are expensive. You do great work! And I always love your projects. Thanks for stopping by my blog also.

  17. BTW, I love your choice of music. Whitney was one of the great talents...and a real talent. No vocal assistance with computers or synthesizers. The real deal from an era when you really had to sing.

  30. I don't do any kind of needlework...sewing, cross-stitch, crocheting, or knitting ~ so when I see people's handiwork, I greatly admire it. I love your little teacup and jar covers - too cute!
