I just baked a pecan pie for my husband's birthday and I hear Trixie outside barking......the unmistakable "I have a squirell up this tree, come get it"
Things have been going quite well, but there is a twist in the wind... DH has decided to do some plumbing and install a whole house water filtration system. Good bye to my quiet afternoon! Lucky you!
Oh hi T and Jingles! It made me smile when I saw your picture on my sidebar Jingles...glad you guys are having a great start to your weekend! Love that song too...Life is good isn't it? Lots to be thankful for!
Sounds like a lovely day. Mine? I'm getting ready for a road trip to West Texas. Will be gone for a few days and hope to catch some good views for later paintings. Plan on doing a bit of 'plein air' while there too. Here at home it is raining, so in between packing I'm baking some muffins and cookies to take with us. Also taking my knitting to do in the car. So far I've learned the knit stitch and I'm making skinny scarves. Have a wonderful weekend.
SOUNDS GOOD TO ME TAMMY.....MUST STRAIGHTEN MY ROOM....THEN I WILL RELAX AND DO ONE OF MY CRAFTS...... KEEP LOOKING AT MY SKETCH BOOK...... DON'T KNOW YET......JUST LOVE YOUR JINGLES...OUR NEW CAT CICI WOULD ADORE HIM...SHE IS SO SWEET AND PRETTY....HAVE A LOVELY WEEKEND.... RIZZI
Hi Tammy! Sounds great and looks like a wonderful day for Jingles, too - she's such a sweeeeeet one! :o) Warm hugs and habe a great rest-weekend! ♥ Traude
A sweet day Tammy. Jingles is such a photogenic cat. I never get tired of seeing pictures of her. My niece had a big yellow cat like her and recently had to have her put down. My daughter also had a cat like that and Cathy said that she read somewhere that those kind of cats are very famiy oriented and highly intelligent. Hope you have a great weekend. Blessings, Diane
Love the colors of the granny squares. You always know how to color coordinate. I see that you've been very busy this last week with all your little projects. I took out a x-stitch that I've had for 2 years now and looked at it, then put it back...lol....someday!
So glad you are having a wonderful day doing what you love and Jingles too! When Ken and I were first married 25 years ago we had a orange tabby cat named AJ. He looks a lot like Jingles and had that same content face that Jingles has in the far right picture. Oh, sweet memories of my kitty!
Hi Tammy! Thank you so much for stopping in on my little piece of the blogging world to say hello! I so look forward to getting to know you better. Also, I see we have a love of cats in common. Your kitty is adorable! Much love, Lisa
Thanks so much for stopping by my little corner of the world. Your comments are much appreciated. "Courtesies of a small and trivial character are the ones which strike deepest in the grateful and appreciating heart." ~Henry Clay
It sounds lovely, can I come over and spend the day with you?
