Cookies, Clouds and Tea

Over the weekend, I tried a recipe for sprinkle cookies found over at Mimi's Kitchen.
The dough was so easy to put together, so easy to work with and the results were so very tasty.  In fact, I made two batches and as of today, there's not a crumb left.
Our pretty pink skies of this morning ...

turned completely to gray by the time we left school this afternoon.  Gray and dreary, cold and windy.
It's the perfect time to join Kimmie at Art in Red Wagons for a cup of Twinings Organic African Honeybush & Lemon tea and a sprinkle cookie.
Sending warm wishes your way for a wonderful day!

  2. I smiled a little when you say it´s cold! :o ;)
You should be here in Sweden now. It has been about -43 degrees C in the north and -21 degrees C in the southern parts of our country.
But I understand you at the same time. My hubbys brother lives in Thailand and HongKong and he said it´s so cold when the temperature was "only + 25 degrees C" and keeps his warm knitted pullover on when he is in Sweden in the summer... You get used to the hot weather after a couple of years. :)

The tea sounds interesting. Did you try Lapsang Souchong? I love it.

Send you warm greetings back from NorTH pOLE! ;D

  4. They say Red Skies at Morning - Sailors Take Warning ... I guess your pink skies were boding a change in the weather! Your cookies look so sweet - literally! and figuratively too! ... my teapot cookies needed sprinkles - they just add that little extra something :)

  8. something I really miss is making loads of cakes and biscuits, when the kids were all at home I used to make huge amounts.
There is only me and Mr.T now and as we are not as active as we used to be we cannot gorge like we used to. lol

  9. Mmm, those cookies look good, Tammy. And I like 'easy' :) I'll have to go check out the recipe. What is "cold" over there? ;) I think we warmer climes folks tend to really appreciate our few chilly days celebrate them. But, I am always glad to see that sun again. Take care~

  15. I had to stop by, even though I've been out all day. Your afternoon sky looked a lot like my all day sky. I enjoyed stopping by for tea and a cookie, though.
