A Chilly Celebration

Yesterday the clouds rolled in and the wind kicked up bringing colder air with it.
Today's sky was drab with just a bit of dust.
I met friends at Taal Indian Restaurant for lunch.
The decor is very warm and cozy.  Just what we needed on this cold and windy day.
Friends are a lot like the sun--dependable and warm, and they brighten your day.

Melissa's birthday was on Wednesday so we wanted to help her celebrate.
Happy Birthday, Melissa, my true blue friend!
Hope you are having a warm and cozy day in your corner of the world.

  1. I'd walk out in a winter storm just to spend a day with you. Loved my surprise lunch and all the goodies that you so thoughtfully put together.

  3. It is so wonderful to spend time with specia friends and celebrate them. We have had quite a winter storm here and my car does not want to make it up our driveway so is parked on the street. I think I will head in to work to make up a few snow day hours. Stay warm and cozy!

  9. Good Morning Tammy Sweetie...
Oh what a beautiful share. Love the photos you posted. The clouds behind the palms were so mystifying. Loved that shot.

Looks like you gals had a wonderful time out and about for lunch. Love the smiles. Your cross stitch that you did for your friend, Melissa is just beautiful, love the pink frame. And does that dessert ever look sinful? Yummy I would so.

Thank you for sharing your wonderful outing with your friends. I loved seeing the restaurant as well.

Stay warm sweet friend and have a glorious weekend. Many hugs and much love, Sherry

What a lovely group of friends you have, Tammy. I'm assuming that the framed cross-stitch is the gift you made for Melissa...it's beautiful!

  17. Happy Birthday to Melissa. I recognise Susana there :) Love the heart cross stitch.
I was getting too many spam links on my blog thats the reason I wanted to change. Every one has been sick one after the other in this weather so I have not got a chance to go to the fiber group yet Tammy. I hope to meet you at one of the meetings soon :)
