Spice Cookies and Clouds

Last night Zack exclaimed that these Fall Spice Cookies are the best I've ever made. I used a recipe posted by Alisa Burke. Easy to make and they turned out great.

My mom used to make really big and really moist molasses cookies when I was growing up. I always thought they were the best. Wonder if she still has that recipe?

More Fall-like weather has arrived to our corner of the world. Major fluctuations in temperatures. Cool, hot, muggy. Lots of clouds as there is a chance for rain.

Hope your week is off to a great start.

  4. The weather is up and down here. It is NOT normal for it to be 81F on Nov. 14, that's for sure! I am ready to turn on the A/C and I imagine tonight we will need the heat back on!

    Pretty sky pictures!

  9. Your cookies looks delicious! As always. :)

Beautiful photos of the sky. I guess it doesn´t rain very often i Kuwait so I think you enjoy it very much when it happens...?

Something is really wrong with our weather here in Sweden. It´s warmer than it has ever been this time of year. No snow in sight. I start to worry to be honest because I prefer real winters instead of this "middle weather". And sometimes the heaven is almost cherryred in Stockholm and it doesn´t seem normal to me...

Hope you had a great start on your week!
    Hugs!

  10. Hey, Tammy! Those cookies looks fabulous... and sound like fall. We have been having wishy-washy, cool - hot weather, too. Hard to know what to wear when you are getting dressed in the mornings!

Does sunscreen help your allergy? That's a bummer. Hope both your skin and your ankle are feeling MUCH better soon! Meanwhile, do you have one of those cheese biscuits to have before the cookie? ;) c.o.m.f.o.r.t! blessings ~ tanna

  14. Dearest Tammy,

Important that Zack is happy with them! Once in a while you hit bingo with some bake or a dish you cooked.
Have a great Tuesday and remainder of the week. Love to you,

    Mariette

  16. The cookies look good! Pretty pictures of the sky.

Big fluctuations in the weather here too - a few snowflakes last week that didn't amount to anything, followed by 75 degrees and a Tornado warning yesterday. That's pretty much weather here in Illinois. :)

    Happy Tuesday,
    Linda

  19. Sound like a good fall cookie to have with apple cider. We are having a very warm Nov. I stained the deck in my t shirt today. But know it has to change soon. Have a good week.

  20. The cookie photo has my mouth watering. I'm sure your family enjoyed them. We too are experiencing cooler weather. 70's yesterday. Flowers are looking great. Time for a cookout in the backyard I think. I've been quilting and will have some photos to share later this week.
