Today Is ...

Mother's Day in the Arab World. Yusef sent me a white rose at school and Zack made a card in Arabic class.

... another hot day with temps reaching the mid-80's. Air conditioning is already a must.

... a chance to take time just for me, because it's Mother's Day.

    Happy Mother's Day!! Just like in the US, and many Latin American countries, we have to wait until May. I did hear that Father's Day was on Saturday in Spain. It's in June for us.

    Happy Mother's day Tammy! do you get to celebrate it twice with Mother's day in May?

    I am still wearing sweaters here- though we usually go from winter to summer weather in a matter of a few weeks. The spring temps don't last long.

    Oh Tammy, just one look at Jingles would be enough of a Mother's day present for me. What a sweet, loveable DARLING of a kitty. Of course, I love my kitty, too....Honey Cat.     I did not even know it was Mother's Day yesterday. Half way through the day, Dany came and wished me a happy day, then came and made dinner with me last night as his "gift" to me. I love that your boys remembered!
    Love that you had some quiet time last night. Make sure you get some of that every day. You know me well enough to know that I am not a very nice person if I don't get my quiet time each day! HA!
