Simple Stitches

Thanks to a little Tylenol PM, I think I may be over the jet lag.

7 am is certainly a much more reasonable hour to awake than 4 am.

I keep thinking I should be getting out and about, tackling projects that I've been wanting to get started on, cleaning and organizing ...

but then I remind myself that work will begin soon enough. I might as well simply enjoy these last days of summer.

Wishing you a great week ahead! Peace & blessings, Tammy

  2. Sorry that I have not been over in a while. Since my accident I have limited time on the computer.

  4. So these are the flowers you told me you were working on. VERY cute. Simple and nice. I am glad you are taking some time to do exactly what you want. It is going to make adjusting to a job a bit harder to enjoy your time at home so much, but you can worry about that in a few weeks... I have been sleeping late too (8:30 today), and I KNOW that 5:20 is going to be a rude awakening next week!
    Love ya,
    Renee

  5. Your flower stitches are so precious... I hate that anxious feeling of "I should be doing something". Sit back and relax, this is your time to meditate and enjoy... It is a hard thing to do, I know.
My problem is once I slow down, then it is hard to pick back up the speed!!!

  6. You HAVE been keeping busy. Look at all the pretty cross-stitching you've done. Looks like some pretty crocheting, too. Yes, work will begin again soon enough and besides, it's just too darn hot to get "out and about".

  7. It seems like that's a human condition. You come home from a vacation full of wonderful ideas and enthusiasm........and absolutely no energy left to do it!!! Diane

  15. Bet you feel alot better getting a good rest. I've been getting up around 10 and that works for me. Don't tell me you finished those x-stitches yesterday especially after being so cross-eyed. If home bound and crafting is what you crave then do it. Its been too darn humid to go out anyways.

P.S. Thanks for Daugherty, Kenny was killing me:P

  18. Hi Tammy,
I haven't been here in awhile and I apologize. I just can't seem to keep up anymore. So you visited the states? I wonder how far Geneva , Illinois is from where I live.

My sister and her family live in PA , but are vacationing in Tennessee and also my nephew who lives in Michigan (about 8 miles or so from us) was also vacationing in Tennessee with his fiance's family. Can you believe that they all ended up in a walmart in Gatlinburg at the same time?? They were shocked to see each other especially so far from home. I thought it was so neat.

Keep cool and rest yourself up. That is one reason I don't even think about flying is the jet lag. I don't think my poor body could handle it especially with my fibromyalgia. But then I might be surprised and handle it just fine.
    Hugs~
PS Sorry this is such a rambling comment...
