New York and Friendship

This sweet pin keep was one of my purchases while in Canandaigua NY this summer. It's made in a cute little muffin tin.

I also bought the candles and they smell so good.

Canandaigua has a nice downtown area that is great for walking and shopping. And Liberty Cottage is filled to the brim with crafts and inspiration.

Loved this scarecrow doll, especially the felt flowers on her dress.

Upstate NY is where Gwen and I met up with my girlfriends Renee and Melissa.

I crocheted all of us happy face bracelets.

We always have a great (sometimes wild & crazy) time when we get together.

The greatest sweetener of human life is Friendship. To raise this to the highest pitch of enjoyment, is a secret which but few discover.

Wishing you a day filled with the blessings of friendship. Smiles and hugs, Tammy

  1. I bet you didn't mind getting home after seeing all that inspiring yummy stuff. You must have just been plotting what you were going to work on first. That's part of the fun of getting back home. Diane

  5. Hi Tammy! Sounds like you are back to normal now! Liberty Cottage looks like a fun shop! I am going to be in upstate NY for a wedding (my nephew) and I think we go through this town??sounds familiar! Since I will be doing most of the driving I'll bet my car might get lost and end up there?lol I want this trip to be fun and not just driving driving!lol Love your little cross stitch projects too - getting up early does have its advantages!lol I can't believe school starts soon - can't wait for the cooler temps and cozy nights stitching on the couch! Have a great week - Sincerely, Jeannette

  17. What a lovely thing to see pictures of Canandaguia again. I love shopping up and down that street. Did you ever get pictures of that needlework that the woman was doing? I think it was in Liberty Cottage. I wish I was back in central NY right now. Especially with you and Melissa by my side! HA!

Hope you are having a wonderful day!!

    Love,
    Renee
