I took these photos from our bedroom.
All our windows are tinted which helps to keep the heat at bay.
Our high temp today was 119 and the prediction for midnite is 99.
I thought the window tinting gave these photos a natural sepia look which was pretty cool.
And although it may not be cool outside, Jingles still likes to head out to the balcony for a blissful moment.
Today was my last work day at school. Summer has begun! Woo hoo!
BLISS! Hope you have some woo-hoo moments in your day. Peace & blessings, Tammy

Hi Tammy,
ReplyDeleteHope you are surviving the heat, I don't know whether I would cope.
Enjoy your summer, will you get a chance to get to the beach?
Thought of you as I finished my bottle of wine.
Keep smiling,
Angela.
I do love doves -- we have turtle doves here. I love how they coo. Jingles loves the heat ;) Congrats on being a free woman for the summer!
ReplyDeleteDear Tammy, Congrats on finishing School for the summer! I doubt if I'd be able to stick it out in 119 degree temps! Do you ever go outside? Your photos are great and they do look sepia-one of my favorite things, old sepias. I'll bet you are looking forward to your trip! Happy Summer to you~Sherry
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh Tammy! I was complaining because it is 90 and humid out!At least it gets cooler than 90 at night - 119 I don't think so!!!lol The tinted windows give such a cool look you are right; too bad they can't make it feel cool too!lol Jingle's expression is adorable. I hope your hairdresser sticks around for a while...I did fix my hair so it isn't making me feel self-conscious - thanks to hubby (he doesn't want me to tell people at work he fixed it - I think he associates hairdressers & gay guy!tsk tsk! Enjoy your time off and stay "cool" as possible! Thanks also for your "well wishes" for my daughter - I'm still waiting to hear results. Sincerely, Jeannette

ReplyDeleteWhat a happy smile on Jingles face. I love your sepia, and the pretty pigeon. 119 degrees - that's just too too hot!!!!! Diane
ReplyDeletefabulous! congrats! and your bird and kitty are just wonderful!
ReplyDeleteAt 119 that dove is probably wanting in. If you ck. back several posts you'll find my dove & babies & she just had 2 more. She's almost become a pet. She just watches me work around like she has no fear -- & rightfully so. Thanks for reading my blog -- I appreciate it. Stay cool! Jan
ReplyDeleteI think you are very kind to the pigeons. We battled with them in CA, I can't honestly say I miss them. Love your "sepia" pictures. Happy summer!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely sight to greet you this morning. I love my birds that visit in our back yard. Such a simple pleasure they are!Your pictures are lovely. I can't believe how hot it is there right now. Good that you will be heading for cooler temperatures in a few weeks. Michigan sounds perfect right now. It is hot here, but I won't complain after hearing about how hot it is in Kuwait!!
ReplyDeleteGood for you for finishing up school for the summer. YEA!! I can't wait to know that you are here in the US!!
Love,
Renee
Tammy I wish for you is a Summer crammed full of bliss!!! What lovely pictures in this post! I love the sepia. Your little window peeper is such a darling little guy.
ReplyDeleteI wish I could send you some cooler temps, because that is just too darn hot!!!
Hugs
Tammy,
ReplyDeleteOkay, I will NEVER complain about our heat again. Well, maybe a little, but Lordy, what heat you have! I'd never go outside. I love the framed art from the kids, I've been saving my favorite pictures from them over the past couple of years. Thought I'd bound them into a book or something. Also, I want to have them do those plastic plates. Did you ever do those? They come out really nice & not to expensive. Two weeks till your state side? To stay, or just visit? I can't imagine the work ahead of you for that trip. Lisa
Even though it is so hot there, the pictures look so pretty... they do look sepia toned. Well I am going to have to get you something for your Americana nook. The 28th is almost here. WHOO HOO!! CHICKY POO!! I REALLY CAN NOT WAIT TO SEE YOU! I MISS YOU SO MUCH. HAPPY DANCE!
ReplyDeleteGwen:)
Summer came and went here, and there was no vacation time for me :-( boo! But I'm glad it is not your case :-) I hope you have a great summer ahead!...looks as it is going to be a very hot one!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures. They look very artistic. But I like the one with Jingles the best. It is as if taking the energy from above :-) very cute.
Have a great week ahead!
