Blue Monday and Gratitude

Greetings and good wishes to one and all. Last nite I started another crochet project, using blue and cream cotton - just in time for Blue Monday.

I picked up this pattern book over the summer while visiting Lisa in North Carolina. There was the cutest yarn shop in her area. My project is supposed to be a discloth but the finished piece comes out so big. I made a cream one for Gwen and she uses it as a doily.

I have many blue and white items around the house. Blue is my favorite color.

Met friends tonite at Starbucks for coffee (you can see the Starbuck's sign in Arabic). Elena's 5 year old daughter, Sophie, took the picture for us. Turned out pretty good! That's me on the left.

The sun was just setting as we all came together. Such a beautiful sight!

  3. You were crafting last night which is a good thing, and the fact that met up with the girls for coffee is a wonderful thing. Everyone looks wonderful, and Elena looks as stunning as ever. I wish I could have been there. The sunsets here are not as spectacular as yours. It is a nice thing to see something that beautiful!! Hope your Monday is a good one!!!

    Miss you,

  4. Hello, Tammy,
Yumm. . . I love that color of blue you are using in your crochet! It looks so pretty next to the white. I have quite a bit of blue in my home, too. I am glad you enjoyed time with your friends at Starbucks. I guess Starbucks is pretty well all over the world. The sunset was gorgeous! Hope you have a beautiful week! Vicki

  5. I enjoyed seeing the picture of Starbucks with the Arabic sign...I knew there was a Starbucks on pretty much every corner in America but was not aware of their presence in Kuwait. Thanks for sharing.
