Solstice Salutations

... This is the solstice, the still point
of the sun, its cusp and midnight,

the year’s threshold
and unlocking, where the past
lets go of and becomes the future;
the place of caught breath, the door
of a vanished house left ajar. ...
(Margaret Atwood)

Sending light and love.

  2. Dearest Tammy,
    Yes, the solstice is today and daylight will start to be added from now on.
    Hate those dark and dreary days before Christmas.
    The entire world needs love and light—lots of light.
    Big hugs,
    Mariette

  7. Happy winter solstice...starting today (the 22nd), the days will finally start to get longer again! We're in the midst of a snowstorm right now and bitter cold temps. Yuck!
