Had a lovely walk around my neighborhood this afternoon. Weather is mild and perfect for wandering. I kept an eye out for all things yellow today.
We find from experience that yellow excites a warm and agreeable impression.... The eye is gladdened, the heart expanded and cheered, a glow seems at once to breathe toward us.
(Johann Wolfgang von Goethe)
A Monday meandering makes me happy.
I had run out of the cotton yarn I use for my crochet hearts so finally, after more than a year, visited the craft store for a restock.
Have a good week.
Dearest Tammy,
ReplyDeleteWhat a bubbly and most cheerful post this is!
Love the photos and I'm a yellow person; very much so and after all it is the color of the sun.
How those kitties must be on the lookout for their saintly protector!
Big hugs,
Mariette
Your hearts are just wonderful!!!
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Tammy! It was wonderful to read your happy post and see the beautiful flowers, hearts and kitties. You do so much good for everyone. Thank you for cleaning up the neighborhood too.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a lovely rest of the day my dear friend.
Blessings and love,

Happy Monday! What a treat to see sunshine and yellow! It is 30 degrees here today and a snowstorm is looming! :) Love all those hearts! Thanks for sharing cheer!
ReplyDeleteAs it is a very dark and gloomy day here today, I especially enjoyed your sunny yellow finds. Your colorful hearts are so cheerful too. Glad you were able to get some more yarn. Have a wonderful week.
ReplyDeleteI was so pleased to see the title of your post today, as a scripture my dearest and I were discussing yesterday about being cheerful in troubled times. When Jesus came walking on the water during the terrible storm and the deciples thouht he was a ghost, he sad three things. Be of good cheer, It is I, Don't be afraid. Wouldn't you think the first thing he would say would be It is I, or Don't be afraid....but NO, he said "Be of good cheer".... I love that, and I love your cheerful yellow post.
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet post and love your little hearts. Have a lovely week.
ReplyDeleteYellow is such a cheerful colour! The kitties must really love you, and good on you for picking up trash. Those coloured hearts make me happy just looking at them.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the yellow love.. we painted the family room and dining room walls a sunny yellow and it never fails to make me feel happy and like it's a summer day. I'm glad you got some new cotton yarn to make your hearts and spread joy! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
ReplyDeleteI agree yellow is a cheerful colour and your sweet little hearts spread cheer too. Have a lovely day.
ReplyDeleteSo nice, Tammy! We are still in lockdown so not much walking and the craft shop is closed - I don't know which makes me more anxious :-)

Tammy - our winter has been much more sunny than normal - a blessing in one way, but a downside in that we have not had as much snow as we would like. I was running through some old posts the other day, and one photo of the yellow coreopsis in my own garden really jumped out at me. Such a happy color! Enjoy your weekend, my friend!
ReplyDeleteLove your colorful hearts and all the trash you pick up to help the environment. Stay safe Tammy.
ReplyDelete❤️👍❤️
ReplyDeleteI am so glad youre out and about. And that you are back to making your lovely hearts. Have a great weekend! Kit
ReplyDeleteHi Tammy
ReplyDeleteA delightful post, love your heart.
Vincent Van Gogh agrees with you about the colour yellow.
