X-mas Greetings

The best Christmas gift is to realize how much you already have.

Found an old cross-stitch kit stored away in a tin with other bits and bobs, so pulled it out and decided it was high time to stitch it up.  I started yesterday and finished this morning.

We went out for lunch and had a surprise visitor come around with bell ringing and a ho-ho-ho to hand out candy.
Here's hoping your day is merry and bright.
Sending holidays wishes your way.
A sign of the times.
Merry Christmas!

  9. Hope you had a good Christmas. You can dine indoors there? Restaurants are closed for dine-in here, though a lot of them (privately owned, not the chains) are defying orders and have opened anyway.

  10. I hope you had a lovely Christmas, Tammy. I cooked up a vegan roast dinner and we went to my Mum's place to enjoy it there with her.

We are doing fairly well here in Queensland re. Covid and we still have those signs in place and, thankfully, the majority of people respect the restrictions.

  11. Dearest Tammy,
You are a very poetic person and I just LOVE the quote you used at the top.
    So very true.
You know, we never have done any gift giving and this was a quiet Christmas, we were in bed rather early. Cozy warm under the flannel duvet cover with down duvet...
We went to Christmas day Mass and that was our Christmas.
    Hugs,
    Mariette
