Leave a Little Love

Let love be the foundation of your life,
the ground of your being.
A place of forgiveness and gratitude,
delight and awe.
A ceaseless source of hope.

Left a little love behind on my afternoon walk.

  4. Your thoughtfulness is so sweet.
For Christmas, Sarah had the idea to bake for the neighbors and we do not know personally all of our neighbors, but regardless, we baked and brought tins of cookies around to them and today we received the sweetest thank you note in the mail from some new neighbors on our block - they were home when we knocked because we could hear them and we weren't sure when we left the cookies in their mail box since they didn't open the door (because we've done this in the past and have been ignored) but how sweet and thoughtful it was to receive a kind note from them and to know that our kindness made a difference.

New Year's Eve is always sad to me and I don't readily embrace new years with great hope because - well, my parents are 92 and 86 and time is rapidly slipping away. But Happy New Year's Eve. I hope you've enjoyed a nice evening. I always put forth my best effort regardless of sadness - making everything festive, and we have a bonfire tonight in our backyard.

    Kind regards,
    Linda
