This morning I went for a walk.
And hung hearts from branches.
I saw a mother and father with two little girls at the playground and thought it would be fun for the girls to find the hearts in the trees. I tried to explain this to the mother but she didn't speak English and I don't speak Arabic so I couldn't get the message across. They were gone by the time I got back around the walking path and are probably wondering who the crazy woman was. I think she thought I was trying to sell her something because she asked for my phone number.
Fortunately, a nanny came along with a little boy and girl who did speak English so she played along.
And the hearts were found by a delighted Khadija and Mohammed.
Happy February!

That's a neat gesture, Tammy! :) How fun and sweet!

ReplyDeleteYou are so thoughtful. I like how you spread the joy of your crochet projects around your neighborhood. it's too bad the one family didn't get what you were showing them, maybe they got it later!
