Scrapbusting

Finally, I have some stashbusting to share.  Honestly, these small projects take so little yarn that it actually should be called scrapbusting.

I have lots of stones I've collected on my walks, so every once in awhile I'll get the urge to crochet covers for them.
For St. Patrick's Day I crocheted shamrocks using this pattern and gave them to co-workers in a little envelope with a shamrock quote and chocolate mint candies.
These little wallhangings were inspired by a post on Instagram.  No link to who made them and no pattern, but easy enough to eyeball and figure out.
I also continue to make hearts and gift bags when time permits.
And finally, there will be no stashbusting with this ball of cotton yarn I bought a few weeks ago.  As you can see, I used it right up to the very end with just enough left to tie off and weave in.
Linking to Linda's Crafty Corner for the monthly Stashbuster Party.

Best wishes,

your cute crochet work is adorable again! I also like the idea so much, to "clothe" stones! And the tiny shamrocks - a sweet idea for St. Patrick's Day. I was wearing green clothes this year on that day - you can see it in my current post ;o)

  20. Dearest Tammy,
What a lovely post bursting with labor of love as we say so well here in the USA! Love your St. Patrick's shamrocks with the sweet handwritten message. Such a touching little gift that might often mean far more than its tiny presence presumes.
You have a real gift and look at you what you are able to create by just looking at a photo! Hats off to you girl.
    Hugs,
    Mariette

  25. Well, crocheting hurts my hand so much, but I must say, I will work through that pain, because you've inspired me on what to do with some of the rocks I bring back from far away places, myself...I'm CONSTANTLY picking up rocks, to carry home. You, my friend, have shown me something beautiful to showcase them in! Thank you - XOXO
