What a treat it was this morning to have these sweet little white eared bulbuls greet me right outside the backdoor. They sat on the wire just 5 feet away, chattering and singing their song and weren't even bothered by my presence.
The moon was beautiful set against brilliant blue skies.
Even snapped this picture at a red light while on the way to school this morning. The moon just a tiny little dot in the sky.
The air was crisp and cool which can be quite a shock to the system when you are used to milder temperatures, but in my opinion, blue skies make everything better.
A few clouds floated in at the end of the day which made for a colorful sunset.
When I admire the wonders of a sunset or the beauty of the moon, my soul expands in the worship of the creator.

Have a blessed day,

Beautiful pictures, as always...it is cold here...27 F right now...just went to back my car into the garage...Cruz if driveway is slippery in the mooring, I can't get out, unless I back in.....and grab my school bags....
ReplyDeleteDearest Tammy , your weather as I see it is wonderful .Lovely images from the sunset and the moon . I wish all the days for this year will be beautiful and special for you and for your family !
ReplyDeleteI bet you are loving the more moderate temperatures of this time of year there. I enjoyed all your photos. I bet your birds there have pretty birdsong. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos of the glorious moon and sunset. I even liked your photos of the grey skies in the last post.
ReplyDeletePretty skies and beautiful birds! A delight : )
ReplyDeleteHere it was grey, rainy/freezing rain, all day and I only went out once to get a few items from the store. Otherwise, it was a day spent entirely indoors where it's warm and cozy. Looks like a high of 14 tomorrow so back to a couple of days of cool weather. Today it was 32 and felt balmy outside.
Have a great new week. Looking forward to our upcoming 3-day weekend next weekend with the Monday holiday. College begins again this week for my daughter but not for the University - they still have one more week off and then - sigh - the campus is busy again.
Linda
Beautiful beautiful pictures Tammy. I would love to hear your birds singing. We have so much snow and cold I haven't seen any birds for awhile even though I know they are around somewhere. Have a lovely week.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
I agree completely about blus skies. And what a lovely quote! Who hasn't felt that "expansion" of the soul?
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful Monday, Tammy!
Dearest Tammy,
ReplyDeleteYou sound so happy and bubbly... Birds, moon, blue skies and family together!
Hugs to you,
Mariette

ReplyDeleteGreat photos, Tammy. So happy your weather is being good to you. May you have a true "blue sky" kind of week with sunshine in your heart. Susan

Great pics !! Do you always carry camera on your walks? I find it heavy to carry even my house keys:) and I wear Indian top(kurta) which doesn't have pockets either
ReplyDeleteHi Tammy! I'm so glad to see your post after I was absent for so long. Love your observations of nature...the sky is gorgeous! Enjoy your days! Love from India.
ReplyDeleteBlue skies and sunshine make ALL the difference... I can stand a LOT of cold with a little sunshine! And, amen to the quote! blessings ~ tanna
ReplyDeleteBlue skies and beautiful skies like these make everything wonderful! xx
ReplyDeletePretty pictures Tammy. Wishing you a blessed day, Heather
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful sky day - and your photo capture of the birds is great - I find its so hard to get birds to sit still. I'll bet they were posing :)
ReplyDeleteSuch great pics Tammy. Your scenery is so different to ours, especially the skyline shots. There is one house nearby us with a puny looking palm tree, but we don't have that modern architecture in our sightline.
ReplyDeleteSweet birds - we don't have that species - but plenty of others coming to the feeders and water sources now that it's so chilly.
Have a fabulous week dear.
Hugs - Mary
Thanks for sharing the beautiful day you had, Tammy...a blessing for you and now me from the Creator. xx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures, Tammy. A wonderful sky, all day long. Diane
ReplyDeleteBeautiful skies all day long. Thanks for your encouraging comments about Cathy. She's in good spirits I think. Diane
ReplyDeleteNice pics! Those birds are so cute!
ReplyDeleteHi Tammy, I've been away from blogging for so long but most importantly, I'm so ashamed to say that my Pay-it-forward to you is soooo long overdue :( Would you mind sending me your address (again) on fruitfulfusion@live.co.uk so I can send something over to you! xxx
ReplyDeleteGorgeous skies my friend.
