Anything But Cleaning

Winter Break is in full swing here.  My intention yesterday was to do some cleaning, but instead I was skywatching ...
baking ...
crocheting ...
crocheting...
and crocheting some more.
As a friend said, cleaning will always be there.
Just not sure when I will get to it.

Linking to Linda's Crafty Corner for the Stash-buster Party.

Best wishes,

  4. Yeah, I haven't done any cleaning either, other than surface stuff. To be honest, I'm not that tidy of a housekeeper and haven't been in years. It looks okay on the surface, but don't look too closely. ;) The beginning of my 16 day break was also spent baking with my Mom & daughter (though Mom can't do anything due to her dementia, she enjoyed snacking with us). I've had a horrible sinus migraine for 3 days, and today I really need to just push through it and decorate for Jim's Birthday which is on the 24th. : )

    Have a great day,
    Linda

  9. I always do light cleaning during the holidays, I call it a "kiss and promise" to get to it in the spring... but family and memory making are what is most important now... you have your priorities straight!! xo

Tammy, I couldn't agree more about housecleaning: it will always be there, and it can wait. Some of mine has been waiting a long, long time. ;)
Just curious: do you make your own zaatar blend? Or can you recommend one?

  14. Dearest Tammy,
Oh, I'm with you on that subject... Want to have my house clean before Christmas but not tomorrow as they will install Internet and TV connection via Charter. DishNetwork dropped Fox News so we let them go... beside having to deal with a lousy internet connection via satellite.
Hope tomorrow afternoon things will be solved!
Your baking and crocheting is always something to admire and to enjoy! Go for it.
    Hugs,
    Mariette

  22. The flatbread looks delicious and your delicate snowflake and red stockings are cute. As for housework, we agree. I say "I was going to clean house, oh look, a book." Ha ha.

  25. Love your projects. Could you share the tree pattern? And those stockings could be used on a Christmas table to hold the utensils at the place setting. I searched for that last year. I have been really lax on my cleaning.
