Stashbusting Sunday: Leftover Cotton

After being away for a month, there is much cleaning to do around here.
But in between cleaning sprees, I am making time to get in a bit of stashbusting.




Quick and easy projects that don't take a lot of thought.
After all, I did find a lovely yarn shop in Denver that required the purchase of new cotton.
Summer stashbusting is happening at Linda's Crafty Corner.

    Happy day to you and your stashbusting :)

    I don't do any projects of that kind, but my projects are gardening/keeping our yard beautiful, planning the next big get-together at our house and paying attention to details. We just hosted a beautiful party yesterday. Today is our 12th Wedding Anniversary so we're celebrating again and I'm envisioning this afternoon's photo shoot of just the two of us, something I've been embarking on for the past many years, an annual tradition. :)

    Only one week left here until all of the students are back at the University and Sarah begins her college classes.

    Vacation yarn does not count as a real yarn purchase, I was told that a while back while on a yarn diet and it made perfect sense to me.

    I love all the stash busting you are doing and you are right. It is mandatory to buy yarn when visiting a yarn shop. One might be thought of as snobbish is one doesn't, ;-)

    lovely stash busting but wish you'd explain, very simply -grin-, how to crochet a round circle. mine are never circles, they go kattywompus.

    I love your round ones....are they coasters or doilies? There's a lot of free patterns out there now for mandelas that I want to make and use as doilies.
    I haven't been gone a month but my place still needs cleaning!
    And you know how much I love your dish cloths!

    I love the multi colour yarn, so often the colours are a long way apart on the ball but this looks lovely.

    Oh isn't that always a punishment after coming home? We MUST catch up on so many things. But still it is worth it to go away and enjoy time off.
